Comment : I am very happy with this mechanic and will definitely be coming back. I have a 2017 Subaru Forrester that has a lot of miles on it. I bought it brand new. When the engine light went on the dealership wanted to charge me over $4000 for a new catalytic converter which I did not have. I took it to Joe Thurr?s about a year later because Nothing worked on the car as far as cruise control and my alder wheel drive did not seem to kick in on a snowy road so I decided I had to get it fixed. I took it to Joe Thurs In Orwigsburg, because I love my car, even though it has high miles, they told me the same thing that it needed a catalytic converter in which they charged me half the price of what the dealership Was going to charge me. They put it in and had it done in a few days. However, the engine light went back on. They Told me to bring it right in in which they decided that it was not a good converter so they replaced it With no extra charge in record time and the car runs the best it?s ever ran. I?m so thankful I found this mechanic and will definitely continue bringing my vehicles there for any Repairs oil changes, etc.

Comment : I truly cannot say enough good things about this shop and the people who run it. What started as an absolute nightmare situation with my warranty turned into one of the best customer service experiences I?ve ever had.

Between the endless back-and-forth phone calls, delays, and stress dealing with the warranty company, I felt completely overwhelmed at times. But Wayne (the manager) and Joe (the owner) went above and beyond every single step of the way. They advocated for me, kept me updated, and never once made me feel like ?just another customer.? They genuinely cared.

This was a major repair?around $7,000 worth of work?and thanks to their persistence with the warranty, I ended up paying less than half. That alone is incredible, but what really stood out was how much they went the extra mile.

They provided me with a free loaner vehicle for nearly a month, which was an absolute lifesaver for my family. Because of that, we were still able to travel and even prepare for and welcome our third baby without added stress. That meant more than I can even put into words.

When I got my car back, it wasn?t just fixed?it was detailed and cleaned. It felt like getting a brand new car.

Honest, hardworking, compassionate people are hard to come by, and this shop is full of them. Wayne and Joe, thank you for turning such a stressful situation into something I?ll always be grateful for. I will recommend you to everyone I know.

Comment : From the moment I walked into the shop, I was greeted by friendly service writers. Polite, courteous and professional, they got my vehicle in and out quickly. Service was exceptional. The mechanic came out and explained that they had found an additional problem with my vehicle. I walked out the door that day with an estimate for those repairs.
