Comment : Never buy your parts here. Parts guy gave me the wrong part. I went to change my oil pan on the weekend and realized it was the wrong part. No big deal. So I brought it back up there to return it. He tried to say I was trying to get one over on them since the receipt and the part were different numbers. After he went and checked their inventory he realized it was their mistake but still never apologized. When I got the return back on my credit card it was $109.99 instead of the $112.74 I paid. They said that was because of a credit card fee and basically that they couldn’t do anything about it. I would pick another dealership. They wouldn’t pay for their own mistake after making me feel like a criminal for returning a part. I don’t know about the service side but it sounds like they do shady practices.

Comment : This is in reference to AMAZING service at Northtowne and Donnie.
My Hyundai Sonata was in the grouping of engine and oil problems. I had previously taken my car to Blue springs Hyundai to have them check the engine since it was burning oil and making all sorts of noise. They in turn tried to charge me almost $1,000 for work that they claim had to be done before they would contact Hyundai in reference to possible engine replacement.
I then took my car to Northtowne and talked with Donnie. He immediately took down all my concerns and said they would check it out and file paperwork with Hyundai in reference to any possible replacement. He did not try to charge me for a service that was not necessary. Donnie contacted us later and advised that he had sent off the paperwork and Hyundai had responded they would cover the work that needed to be done. Donnie kept in touch every step and even got my vehicle back to me before the time that he originally quoted us. Any further services I need will be done at Northtowne.

Comment : Purchased my vehicle here in 2021 and opted for the extended warranty. JD was great and made the experience easy and no pressure. After putting around 40k miles on it, I started having engine and timing issues. The service department went above and beyond going back and forth with the after-market warranty company for 11 MONTHS until resolved!! Not only were they persistent in those efforts, but also provided me a loaner vehicle for the entire duration for which they had no contractual obligation to do. The warranty company eventually replaced my engine saving me close to 13k but without the service team's knowledge and leg-work I fear this wouldn't have happened! Huge shout out to Barry Bartlett and the service manager Chris Stroud. Comment : Bought a car here years ago and had a great experience, place has gone way down hill and the sales manager will get in your face,throw his hands and have actually yell about your credit situation in front of other customers. Completely unprofessional and wouldn t even show me the vet we wanted. Just showed us every car but what we wanted to come in and see. Pressure sales only work if you let them, stay far away from this place. Comment : I hit a massive pothole in the middle of the night driving across the country and managed to get my car to their lot. By the time I called in the morning, they had already inspected it and determined the damage both the tire and wheel needed replacement. Since Hyundai Elantra N wheels are nearly impossible to find at the moment, they went above and beyond searching for one or a replacement and couldn't - but ended up finding someone to come and repair my wheel. I was stranded with my dog, and they were incredibly kind, even making sure he had water and treats. Comment : The service department is rude and you almost never speak to anyone without going to voicemail. I asked a question about updates on a recall Bill was rude didn t answer my question just went right into you wanna book a service visit.. can I get my a question answered first.? I know you work on cars all day but I would like to be informed based on the rude workers and numerous recalls Hyundai has had with their sonata .
