Comment : I took my car to Northtown auto clinic to get an oil change and a transmission fluid service, they called me during the service and said that I needed to replace my crankshaft pulley. I allowed them to do so which cost me $1200. A few days after picking up my car from Northtown auto clinic I was driving it and noticed the oil light flash on, I pulled over and checked my dipstick... there was no oil left to my car at all. I brought it to the Ford dealership to see what was really going on with it and they said that Northtown auto clinic installed the crankshaft pulley incorrectly, that they forgot to install a "diamond washer" that was a very necessary part of the crankshaft pulley, which caused a timing chain issue and a crack in the valve cover which then at Ford cost me $3800. I called Northtown to complain, all they would give me was a phone number for a warranty company, when I call the number they tell me that the warranty doesn't apply to negligent installations. Safe to say these guys have no clue what they're doing and if it's not just a basic oil change.. I would bring your car ANYWHERE else. A $400 maintenance appointment turned into $6800 of debt. I'm extremely luckily I noticed the oil issue otherwise Northtown auto clinic would have completely ruined my engine and would not cared in the slightest

One time I paid this shop for a brake job. 2 months later, my brakes failed. Was told I'd need a whole new braking system due to "water in the fluid." Erin in the office had the audacity to say I could scrap the vehicle if I wasnt willing to pay the thousands they wanted.

Took it to a guy from my church and he advised me to take it to Ford for a 3rd party diagnosis because he didnt feel this shops diagnosis made any sense at all.

Took it to Ford, confirmed North Town Auto Clinic misdiagnosed the issue. Turns out they botched the brake job 2 months prior causing damage to the parking brake which caused all the issues.

I called North Town Auto Clinic upset. They paid to have my vehicle towed from Bob Allen Ford to correct the issue. They did exactly what Ford said, and the issue was corrected.

Its now been over a year and my brakes are still good. No brakes lines "collapsed" as Erin promised they would.

They got me for another $900 for a master brake cylinder before my friend and the Ford dealership pointed out North Towns Auto Clinics massive incompetence.

This was such a fail that this had to be a scam. They had to know. I dont trust that this was honestly just misdiagnosed.

They got caught in their incompetence and corrected the issue to cover themselves.
