Comment : Northgate rebuilt a transmission for us on a vehicle we barely drive. It unfortunately had a faulty part that manifested shortly after the warranty period ended. They went above and beyond to make things right for us. We appreciated them so much! We would highly recommend northgate transmission.

Comment : Transmission wasn't shifting out of third gear. Thought I would have to replace or rebuilt it. Come to find out it was a ignition switch. Very honest and I got my truck back the next day.very fair price and the only pace I will take my vehicles for repair.I give north gate transmission 10 stars plus.

Comment : Our vehicle was leaking transmission fluid on our way to Yellowstone from CA. We had a transmission shop in Boise, ID to fix it, but found that the leaking was worse. We were lucky to find Northgate Transmission in Idaho Falls who is willing to take a look of it. Dennis Thompson was amazing. He came up with a solution that we didn't have to wait a day or two for the genuine part. He saved our vacation. Ray was very friendly too. Tina, the front desk lady, even gave us a ride to a great local restaurant while we were waiting. We highly recommend them to anyone!

Comment : Helped me diagnose and fix my truck in the span of a couple hours. Techs have insane amount of experience and understanding of vehicles.
Pricing is way more than fair and labor is extreamly fair.

Comment : Waste of time and money. Employees aren’t very knowledgeable or helpful. Didn’t have solutions. Wanted me to buy a new transmission and couldn’t tell me about how much a used transmission would cost when they are a transmission shop. Regret coming here
