Comment : I recently visited New Concept Auto Service in Overland Park for routine maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, and spark plugs) on my 2012 Kia Sportage.

While the oil change and tire rotation were fairly priced, I was surprised by the total cost of over $800?primarily due to the spark plug service. After reviewing the invoice, the labor and parts pricing for the spark plugs were significantly higher than typical market rates, with over $400 in labor alone and more than $200 for the plugs.

I did appreciate the digital inspection and the professionalism of the staff, but the pricing structure did not feel transparent or competitive for what is generally considered a standard service.

I would recommend asking for a detailed estimate and comparing pricing before approving work. Based on this experience, I would consider returning for basic services like oil changes, but not for larger or higher-cost repairs

Comment : I had a great experience at New Concept Auto Service! The oil change was quick, efficient, and professionally done. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure or upselling.

The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and they got my car in and out faster than I expected. It?s clear they value both quality work and customer satisfaction.

Highly recommend New Concept Auto Service if you?re looking for reliable and honest service. I?ll definitely be coming back!

Comment : $80 to check the battery and alternator, then they told me $250 to get the problem fixed. later get a call thats its done, but they didn't fix the issue and wanted to keep it over the weekend. No chance I was doing that. Was in a pinch because a trip is coming up soon, so I had to go somewhere fast, big mistake dont go here. Also, after reading reviews about leaving here and suddenly having a leak, I have noticed a small leak on my driveway after not having one. I do most maintenance on my car, so I noticed it within 24 hours. Overpriced Hourly rate and either amateur or scammy at their work.

Very happy to have finally found an honest mechanic locally and will be going back along with referring to others!
