(Read their responses to other poor reviews. They are deflective and always state their don't have that info in their system. Thats very shady business with no accountability)'>

Comment : DONT COME HERE!! Taken my car twice to get smog issues fixed spent about $1300 and my check engine light back on right away BOTH TIMES. First time was terrible communication. I was told the job would be a few hours and i knew it would be alot more than that. The guy at the front desk assured me it would only be a few hours and my car was there for two days. The job tripled in price and i wasn't asked if i wanted all that extra work done they just did it and called me after saying whoops its now $400 more. Second time was for the same issue but different part. When i asked for a price estimate and part estimate i was told 220 and same day i get a phone call and all of a sudden its $420. Labor was an hour( they charge $120/hr) and a $130 part is somehow $300??? They OVERCHARGE if u buy the part thru them. They said it would be done in a hour and i didn't get my car back til end of the day. But i was charged for 1 hour of labor??? Don't come here. Communication is TERRIBLE. They don't care about your wallet or car. I came here off a AAA recommendation and i was truly disappointed. I was hoping that this would be a great business with fair pricing for their work but thats sadly not true. Shady pricing and lack of communication in a business like this is just ridiculous. Please save yourself the time and headache (AND CAR) Go somewhere else!!

Comment : This is a bit of a late review but nonetheless. I went to Neil's a couple months ago to take my 01 Mustang to get an Inspection. Rick was the individual taking care of me. Everything went great, Rick treated me splendidly, the inspection didn't take too long and after everything was done I was able to bring my car up to standard for a reasonable price. All in all a great experience and will return again!

Comment : I was driving and suddenly heard strange noises under my car. It was a bit late in the day, around 3pm and I was worried I wouldn't have been able to have my car checked. Fortunately, I came across Neil's Express and was so grateful for Rick's quick and attentive service. I highly recommend you ask for him. He was incredibly kind, personable and thorough. He gave me an accurate waiting time, about 30 minutes - allowing me to get a jog in while they inspected my car. When I returned, he delivered good news that the noise under my car was an easy fix and also offered me a great deal. I was so relieved! I will definitely be going back if I have any other car issues.

Comment : I had a really great experience at Neal?s Express Automotive in Alhambra. From the moment I walked in, everything felt straightforward and professional.

Rick, the service advisor I worked with, was exceptional. He took the time to clearly explain what my car needed and walked me through everything without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. I really appreciated how patient and thorough he was?he made sure I understood everything and answered all of my questions.

What stood out most was that I never felt like I was being taken advantage of, which can honestly be a concern when dealing with car repairs. Rick worked with me to find the best value for the maintenance my car needed, and that made a huge difference.

I left feeling confident in the service I received and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I came here with a AAA tow after my check engine light went on. I had a cylinder misfire on my 2011 corolla. Initially, everything went well. They even dropped us off at a nearby cafe to wait. But like with all autoshops, I definitely recommend you double and triple check the invoice they send you, don't let yourself be rushed. They ended up quoting me over $1,132 to replace all coils and all spark plugs, air intake, fuel injection, all sorts of other services which could be fair if I was planning on driving the car for much longer and wanted to get a full service with everything. But a few minutes after I got my final quote, I asked them to hold off on work until we figured out pricing, and I had told them earlier I wasn't going to drive this car much longer and wanted to be selective about what I was paying for.

First off, the exact ignition coils they used go for $235.99 at O-Reillys online. I asked why they were charging me $443.33 for the parts, and could I go just get the part myself and bring it to them. They said yes but it would void the "1 year warranty". Upcharging by almost double just for a 1 year warranty on a part that should last much longer than 1 year doesn't seem right... I would understand a small upcharge but double seemed crazy.

I finally told them to please just replace the one cylinder that was broken. Steven, who I had been working with from the beginning, told me they had already done all the work. I told him I had called earlier and said not to. This all happened within a very short time frame. He asked if I wanted them removed, I said yes. He hung up on me.

In the end, they charged me $153.98 (only for the part, not including labor) for the one coil.... $443 for 4, then $153 for 1.... this still doesn't make sense to me. But they rushed me to pay and when I challenged Steven about it afterwards he was quite hostile to me, saying "this is a business". I can't help but feel because I am a woman and I don't quite understand any of these things I was taken advantage of. But I researched as I was going through this process and learned a lot.

At the end, I researched and negotiated my way to the real bare minimum work I had asked for in the first place. My bill for replacing the 1 coil plug and all spark plugs was $547.57. Including $240 for 2 hrs labor.

I will also be reaching out to AAA about this business being in their network, as this was the sole reason I chose to bring my business here, even with so many other auto shops in the area. I am surprised because usually I have had good experience with AAA affiliated shops.'>

Comment : TLDR: Do not come here just because it's with AAA. The membership deal isn't worth it. They didn't include the discount on my invoice. If you are coming here, don't come in with a trusting mindset. Be prepared and have a skeptical eye because they took advantage of me.

Comment : On my way to do my taxes my poor car all of a sudden lit up all lights on my dash including the engine warning light and Stabilitrak and traction control and the car seemed to be fighting to accelerate. AAA recommended a good mechanic in the area and I took it over to Rick at Neil's Automotive. They were busy but were very friendly and got me fixed up very quickly once they found out it was my spark plugs failing on two cylinders and so they replaced all of them and my car is running great! Excellent service, communication and results. Highly recommend you go to Neil's and see Rick! Thanks guys.

Comment : This was the first visit to Christian Brothers Automotive Westinghouse Road. I made an appointment and requested oil change, state inspection, air and cabin air filters. Dropped the car off and meet with Lance the Service manager. Gave me an estimate and told me they would contact be when vehicle was ready as well as send me updates which it was being service. They sent me texts letting me know the vehicle was in the shop, it passed inspection, oil was changed using synthetic oil, waiting for cabin air filter. I had received a text with a photo letting me know that the engine air filter looked brand new. I usually keep track of things like that but fail to note that I had recently replaced the air filter, my error. When I picked up the vehicle, the air filter charge had been removed. The service was outstanding. If you are looking for a professional, honest, competent, friendly auto service shop, choose CBA, you will be pleasantly surprised. My biggest regret is that it took me so long to find them.
