Comment : I brought my Dodge Ram in because it threw a code for a misfire in the third cylinder. Nealey advised me to replace my spark plugs and coils, which I did at a cost of $2600. A few days later I got the same code, I brought it back and they said now that they are really looking at it I needed a new engine, and they charged me $950 for that diagnosis. If they had diagnosed it correctly to start, I would never have done the original work. I left there and took it to another mechanic for a second look. The truck ran incredibly rough and the check engine light was blinking. I made it to the second shop who said Nealey didn't reconnect the wires to the coils and that's why it barely made it down the road. I contacted AJ Nealey by mail, then online at his website and with his service follow up surveys and he has never contacted me to discuss the issues. We are out $3500 with no resolution. I would never recommend this business and I don't think they stand behind their service.

Comment : I visited this shop because my dashboard indicated a malfunction with the downhill assist system. I just wanted a diagnosis, but the staff told me it would cost over $200 to check the issue, and that didn’t include any repairs! I felt like I was being taken advantage of, possibly because I’m a woman. Thankfully, I went to another place and got everything fixed for just $40. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I strongly recommend avoiding this shop.

Comment : Do not waste your money here!! It’s truly a shame but this place has severely gone downhill in the last 6 months to a year. I used to feel comfortable taking my car here and trust the employees to not try to screw me over by charging me insane amounts of money on jobs that other shops are not charging a fraction for. After my most recent visit and them not even taking care of one of the things I had requested, I will absolutely not be returning here and telling anyone I know to do the same. If I could leave 0 stars I would because this place used to be so much better but has fallen a long way.

Comment : I visited Nealey Tire and Auto Service for a simple alignment. I scheduled the appointment with Hailey, who was friendly and offered a complimentary bumper-to-bumper inspection along with the alignment — which I appreciated. However, I was given no information whatsoever about the results of that inspection, which felt like a missed opportunity for transparency.

The alignment itself was done quickly, but after the service, my vehicle was still pulling to the right. When they followed up to ask about my experience, I responded and let them know the issue wasn’t resolved — but they never replied. I was left on “delivered,” and they didn’t take any accountability or attempt to follow up further.

Customer service during the initial interaction was decent, but the lack of follow-through really left a bad impression. If you’re going to ask for feedback, ignoring the response just isn’t acceptable. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t want to return based on this experience.

Comment : Worst place in Pasadena. They have horrible customer service, dont know how to communicate anything related to cars or the work being performed. They dont even have a basic understanding of how an oil change works. Good luck trusting these incompetent folks with your vehicle!
