Comment : I took my husband’s truck to Mr. Fix It for a serious issue with the gas pedal not responding and causing the truck to stall and eventually not start at all. We paid an outrageous hourly diagnostic fee so they could check all the parts that we had replaced ourselves which all check back working and non faulty, and all they did was blame an old safety device installed before we owned the truck. They removed it, charged us nearly $800 for diagnosing and “fixing”, and sent us on our way claiming the problem was fixed.
Twelve hours later, the truck stalled again—same exact issue, nothing actually repaired. My daughter and I had to push the truck down the road because their “fix” lasted all of 15 miles.
When I called them, instead of standing behind their work, they told us we’d have to pay for towing AND another diagnostic fee unless they decided the problem was caused by their rewiring. In other words—pay them again for the same unresolved issue.
We paid a decent price just for diagnostics, and they didn’t even identify the real problem. Their customer service was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful once they had our money. They were eager to take the truck in, but the minute their “repair” failed, they acted like it wasn’t their problem.
With a family to care for and Christmas approaching, this has been stressful and financially draining. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t trust this shop with so much as an oil change.

The shop responded to my review by restating details about pricing and authorization, but this was never my complaint. My issue was that I was charged both a diagnostic fee and labor after being told the truck would be fixed and returned to proper running condition.
They also claimed the original concern was only a no-start condition, even though their own intake notes list both the no-start issue and the gas-pedal problem I described.
Much of their reply repeated information I already explained in my review. What matters is that the “fix” they charged hundreds for only lasted a few hours. I even showed a screenshot of the text I sent them the very next morning stating the truck was broken down again — it was not running, despite Jolie saying in her response that I said it was running rough.
When it failed again, they did not offer to cover the tow or the next diagnostic, even though the issue they charged me for was clearly not the true root of the problem. We paid for a THROUGH diagnostic, and the problem was not accurately diagnosed.
That is the core of my complaint.

Comment : Mr. Fix It found the issue with my truck, ordered parts, and resolved the issue in just a few hours. They were polite and quick and very helpful! They offered a ride back home when I dropped my truck off which was unexpected and incredibly generous! I will be using them again if I ever have issues in the future!

Comment : Our car broke down on a Sunday evening on the way home from vacation. Mr. Fix It was amazing. They communicated promptly and made every effort to get us on the road home as quickly as possible on Monday. They were very sympathetic to our situation and went above and beyond to meet our needs. They followed up to make sure we got home safely and everything was running ok. I wish they were closer to home because I would go there for all my service issues!

Comment : Very professional and prompt service. The dealership said it would be two weeks before they could look at our car. Mr. Fix It got it in the next day and had it repaired thar afternoon. Great work!
