Comment : Never been there, never will! I'm a pretty friendly guy on the phone. Had a fairly simple AC problem and was trying to see if I could get a quick service. First guy told me I'd have to talk to Kelsey or Kelly. Not sure who exactly but he was quite the jerk with giving me a lecture about how how nobody can just show up and expect service on repairs, at the doctor, at the.... Proceeded to give me a couple other things in that category before I just hung up on him. I don't know if he was hot and came in from a repair or what but. Never been there, and never will!

Comment : While traveling and pulling a camper our Ford F250 diesel pickup developed problems with bad fuel on a Friday. Mountain Tech has a good reputation and the campground where we were staying recommended calling Kyle, the owner. He was helpful on discussing what to do and coordinated with the wrecker driver to have the truck transported and parked in a service bay for the weekend. I checked on the truck at 9:00 Monday morning and the fuel tank had already been removed and the project was underway. Picked it up around lunch. Very pleased. Delivered on the timeline promised - maybe a bit better. Price was fair. Nice, clean shop. Highly recommend Mountain Tech Automotive.

Comment : Go here if you want to get ripped off. Was quoted $1300 for AC compressor replacement. I said no way and paid the diagnostic fee. Called a shop in Lubbock where I have family and was quoted $650 for the same job! I will be making that drive. $170 labor rate is crazy.

Comment : Went in for a horrible sound in my front wheels
Thinking the brakes needed to be replace! Turns out it was a Rock struck in my rotor and dust shield, Kyle came back and gave me back the rock he removed and said it?s done !! Kyle thank you for your honesty I really appreciate that !!!

Comment : We had a huge snow storm this past weekend. I had to leave my car in the lot because I couldn't make it up the iced over hill on Porr to make it home. I made sure I was in a correct spot and left a note in my windshield.
I didn't think it'd be a big issue since they are closed Sundays anyway. So I come down this Monday around 1:00, allowing the ice to melt, and as I'm about to get my car, the owner, manager, came out and tried to say how lucky I was he didn't have it towed. I tried to explain that I couldn't get my car up the icy hill. He said he didn't care. "It's a business". Obviously it's a business. I was planning on coming back and having my car looked at as I've just moved up here and don't have my normal mechanic anymore. After the experience with the bald man with the Napoleon complex, I'd rather go to a commercial mechanic now. Thought this town would be understanding in times of emergency as the hill i live on didn't have power for over 2 days. But this guy shows that they don't.
As someone who also runs a business, this reflects poorly on you and your company. As such; I'll make sure to let anyone I know needing a mechanic to avoid this heartless person's business.
