Comment : I brought a 2008 VW Rabbit here to be serviced 6 years ago. It had lost a significant amount of coolant with a puddle under the car so I thought there was a leak. I brought the car in and the mechanic said I needed a new radiator. I was told the fix would cost $900 with tax. I said I’d leave the car, but the service rep (and mechanic who was standing behind him) said the car was ok to drive and to schedule the service in two weeks time. I was charged for a pressure test.

The experience raised a few red flags, so I drove the car to another mechanic, who pressure tested the car and said there was no leak AND the radiator was fine. (This second mechanic didn’t charge me for the pressure test and became my go to mechanic for the next 6 years until I finally sold the car). I never had any issues with the coolant during that time.

The mechanic who looked at my car, and the service rep at the desk (I think his name was Dave) were both con artists. I never went back.

I don’t care if this is a new location, new owner, whatever, you bought it (and its reputation). Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Comment : I left the service department crying! I went in for a “ quick check” because the engine light was on. I waited over an hour even with making an appointment. I was told by Denis R. that it would cost me over $7,000.00 to fix my car. Still can’t get over the emotional roller coaster they put me on. Don’t go there!

Comment : Montpelier Volkswagen Mazda staff welcomed me after a tire disconnected from the rim. AAA towed my car there, only a short distance from my breakdown. MVM also serviced my car, so that I didn’t need to have it towed to my dealership. Staff were courteous, competent, and communicative throughout the process. Their charges were quite reasonable. I highly recommend this dealership and service.
