Comment : Kevin and his mechanics are the best. They go that extra for you to try to give you the best deal and do the job right. I up charging and they are clear about what needs to be done and why it needs to be done. You will drive away feeling happy and that your vehicle is in great shape. I refer all my family and friends to them.

Comment : I came in for a trans fluid change, and these scammers bent me over hard. They told me there was metal in the pan, and insisted they investigate. They dissassembled my entire transmission that was pretty much brand new (50k miles) and since I was working out of town, I was now stranded in their parking lot with my work trailer and my new transmission in pieces. They told me the metal inside my pan was from the flex plate on my torque converter being bad. Come to find out the flex plate isnt inside the transmission and couldnt possibly cause the metal shavings. After spending days marooned in their parking lot, they replaced my brand new torque converter and reassembled my brand new transmission to the cost of 5 thousand dollars. The owner is a shady, slimy, scammer who creates problems with your vehicle to pay his overhead. After paying 5 grand for essentially nothing, I also found out they replaced my good OEM pan gasket with a cheap cork gasket that now leaks, and broke off my dipstick inside the finder tube. What a nightmare, and I just politely took it while they scammed me and took full advantage of an unsuspecting customer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! SERIOUS SCAMMERS!!!.

I'm a brand new customer to Mission Viejo Transmission & Auto Repair. I first brought my car to them with great trepidation because I've had life-long "experiences from hell" with so-called "professionals" in the auto mechanical profession. In short: I'm pre-wired to NOT trust anybody who works on my cars.

I guess you can tell that I'm clearly jaded, but not anymore. :)

Kevin's company has liberated me from the fear and distrust I've had for years.

Bottom line: Mission Viejo Transmission & Auto Repair represents what the automotive repair industry has lacked for decades: Honesty, integrity, professionalism, skill, precision, and above-and-beyond, customer care... all qualities Kevin's remarkable company is committed to every day.

But wait... there's more! ;) Kevin embodies good old-fashioned customer service on a personal level.He's never too busy to answer any question(s). He's never too busy to road-test my car with me to educate me about what's going on with it. He's never too busy to roll up his sleeves and get in the trenches with his staff.

And what I've written goes without saying this: "The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree": Kevin's son Kyle truly epitomizes all of the aforementioned qualities that Kevin has injected into the bloodstream of this remarkable business.

The Girls in the Garage are incredible?kind, patient, and truly personal in their care. After going through major health issues and surgeries, that level of understanding meant everything to me. Comment : Mission Viejo transmission has been servicing our cars for 15 years. They do a great job of keeping my cars running and safe. While no one likes paying for maintenance repairs, I feel that their services are fairly priced. Most importantly I trust them.

I once brought my car in because my door was not functioning right. I thought I was going to have to replace the whole door. Upon inspection they realized I had accidently hit something that had affected how the door was closing. They showed me how to fix the problem if it occurred again.

I was so relieved I didn't need a new door I sked them if I could pay them for their time and they absolutely refused. They told me It was so pleasure to help me and that They would love to see me back as a continued customer when I need to service my car. That's all they would want. I was so impressed with their honesty.

Comment : I specifically requested that my Acura be serviced with OEM Honda/Acura transmission fluid (DW-1). The owner’s son confirmed this would be done and stated that if the fluid was not in stock, they would obtain it. However, when I picked up my vehicle, I was shown that a bulk Chevron transmission fluid was used instead, rather than the correct OEM fluid.

Because Honda transmissions are not tolerant of “equivalent” fluids, I now have to pay another shop to gradually remove this fluid over approximately 3,000 miles through two additional drain-and-fill services in order to restore the correct DW-1 fluid. This creates an unnecessary and avoidable expense.

In addition, despite the service being advertised as including a transmission diagnostic, I was not provided with any documentation or report regarding the condition of my transmission. No diagnostic results, findings, or confirmations were given.

Instead, I was presented with recommendations for three additional services. One of those services had already been completed earlier this year, and another component was still new, making the upsell inappropriate and irrelevant.

As a result, this Groupon service did not provide any real savings. Rather than saving money, it has created additional costs and corrective work that will exceed the original price of the service.

Comment : Kevin and his staff are truly amazing. Kevin and all of his staff takes care of my car and my mom's car. They are very through in their work, they tell me what needs to be done and for a fair price. They do go the extra mile to make sure our vehicles are safe to drive.
