Comment : These guys are lousy at best I brought my 1990 simple Chevy pick up truck with a 350 in it. Anybody knows anything about motors can troubleshoot a motor like this and these clowns so far told me I had a bad battery when it was a brand new battery charged me 850 bucks to replace it with some cables now they wanna charge me another 700 because the truck never started never worked after they gave it back to me. Didn’t work started twice. Same problem reoccurring I brought it back. He wants to charge me another $700 but he’s gonna be nice enough to give me 100 bucks off for misdiagnosing the thing to begin with when I told him what was wrong with it. Don’t use these clowns. They’re idiots i’ve got a lot more to say bad about these guys. I can’t stress enough don’t go here. I know about motors enough to know that these guys are ripping people off. If you don’t know about a motor and how it works do not take your vehicle here they will rip you off I asked to speak to the owner and he refused to let me speak to the owner if that ain’t crooked I don’t know what is if you’re the owner and you’re rudeness talk to your man that’s running that show. Get my phone number and call me cause I’m gonna continue to write these things every single week. I’m gonna rewrite this and warn people about you if I don’t hear from somebody and you don’t do it, right.

OTHER CONCERNS
• I was charged $100 in labor to install a cabin air filter — after they volunteered to do it when I said I’d just do it myself. Thankfully I caught it.
• I was quoted $500 for a service a dealer quoted at $200.
• I was told UV dye was added to track a leak source and to return for a repair, but no dye was visible under a UV light, checked by their own manager and a separate mechanic.
• I was quoted for a fuel injector service that wasn’t listed on the inspection report and told “we talked about it”.
• When I inquired about a transmission service being completed, they changed their story about what was actually done.

Hard to believe these are all innocent mistakes. And if they are? That's also concerning. I have ZERO trust in this shop and will never go back.

If you go here...

BE HYPERVIGILANT
• Double-check every quote and invoice before signing or paying for anything - which was my mistake.

GET PROOF
• Get everything in writing (don't trust in-person or phone conversations - which you can't prove later).
• Ask for proof that services were actually completed (photos, old parts, flow meter rate printouts, etc.)

ASK QUESTIONS
• Ask what services actually entail (and why they're being recommended) before agreeing to them. The fuel injector service ($265) didn't entail taking the injectors off the rail or include flow testing. They just hook a machine up to the rail, which I found out later.

BE PREPARED
• Be prepared for really quick answers and shifting stories if you continue asking questions or seeking explanations.
• Be prepared for excuses, deflection, and intimidation strategies when pointing out discrepancies or trying to resolve issues in person.
• Expect a lack of accountability for mistakes.'>

Comment : I do NOT recommend taking your car here.

PRIMARY CONCERN
The manager personally showed me a hose in my car that was supposedly a “problem" so I agreed to have it fixed and agreed to other recommended services since I was there.

After getting my car back, I discovered the "problem" hose was never replaced. When I asked about it, the manager made excuses, got defensive, and changed his story.

It's like going to the dentist to pull an infected tooth, getting other work done since you're there, and then waking up to find the tooth intact - and then being told it’s fine.

Comment : When you deal with auto services - the wait time can be an all day event. However, I go on line or I call to make appt and state that I will wait for oil change. Happy that Mission Auto Care completes oil change in a timely manner.
