Comment : Went in for a simple oil change and left with a car that will NOT budge from "park" mode. Mechanic John stated that my last oil change used the wrong plug and was skeptical about changing the oil. He said he will try bit if he feels it will cause more issued ge will stop. I said ok because I'd rather go somewhere where they are confident they can change the oil with no further damage to the car.

I had been using the shift key lock with a small screw driver and have had ZERO issues. I had a shifter cable assembly installed at another mechanic in June. The car was working 100% fine and was holding off on that repair or taking it back to where the assembly was installed.

Well John must have shoved the little screw driver and broken something inside becuse the car will not move from the park position. He tried to GASLIGHT me saying that it needed repair anyway so it was OK that he broke it and damaged it further. Who goes to a mechanic expecting for their car to come out much worse than when they went in?? On top of that he gaslights and LIES when I know dman well the car was working 100% fine before taking it there. VERY DISHONEST.

Now I may need to miss work tomorrow that's to John damaging the shifter even more. The car is STUCK and will NOT move from the park position. It was NOT like this at all before.

I expected a simple oil change not for my car to be damaged and now I may need to miss work. I wish I had just left when I saw that they were not confident about doing the oil change. I hope there is no further damage done to my car.

This needs to be fixed ASAP. Apparently if your car is slightly damage, according to them it's OK to damage it to the point of it not working at all anymore. This is NOT ok. I'm going to call the complaint line and do anything I need to to get this resolved. Went in with a fully working car came out with a car that will not move and stays in the park position. This is NOT ok or right at all.

Di NOT take your car here if you expect it to come back not damaged and WORSE than it was before.
