Comment : As someone who takes good care of my car and stays on top of service appointments, I was shocked by my experience at Metro Motor. A friend recommended this place for my Maryland state inspection, but it quickly became clear that they weren???t looking out for my best interests. I waited more than 2 hours with an appointment scheduled.During the inspection, the mechanic told me that my car would fail due to a gas leak, and that I needed to replace a part. However, they refused to show me where the leak was, which immediately raised red flags. The homeowner then told me they could get the parts, but not the original parts from the dealership, and the total cost would be around $1,600. Here???s the kicker: They promised not to charge for the inspection if I bought the parts and had them installed at their shop.???? Scam alert! ????I felt something wasn???t right, so I decided to get a second opinion. I took my car to another shop the same week without making any repairs, and guess what? My car passed the inspection without any issues.If you go to this place, always get a second opinion, especially if you don???t know much about cars. Comment : I need a MD inspection and they were able to take my car right away with no appointment. Service was fast and the price was way less than I thought it would be. The dealership wanted double.
