Comment : Hayden and the team at Meridian Automotive are awesome. I had an unfortunate experience with a used car purchase that ended up needing significant repair work. Hayden was an excellent communicator at each step of the process and always laid out all the options without pressuring. He helped make it go as well as it could go given the situation I was in. They have a Toyota master tech here so it?s a great option if you have a Toyota.

Comment : Starter in my truck failed. Had to call AAA to possibly jump start the truck. Tech came out and tested the battery. Good voltage but started probably bad. AAA recommended Meridian Auto as their preferred location. AAA towed my truck after hours to Meridian Automotive. Was ultimately charged 1600+ for a new starter. Price seemed very excessive. But I was out of state and had no other option. So I paid. What's worse the starter sounded horrible. Grinding against the flywheel at startup. I asked one of the front office guys to listen to the grinding sound and he said it would settle down. Had to drive 11 hours home hoping to make it back without breaking down. Was worried about a ground up flywheel as well as the starter issue. Used the warranty that came with the work done and the defective part was replaced at no charge under the AC Delco warranty. Same work in California was roughly $1050. Feel like I was taken advantage of in a bad situation.

Edit: After manager read review he contacted me to help out seeing how the situation affected our family. Dropped the price a bit and was going to make sure quality control would be better in the future. Good outcome in the end.

Comment : brought my car to get one thing checked out
after 4 days I was given a quote for a bunch of other things needed ,but nothing for what I brought it in for and a Bill for looking at it

Comment : Just dropped my car off to get a CV joint replaced. I was the 1st cuttomer there and was warmly greeted. Customer service is huge for me, and they get 5 outta 5 for that. I asked if they do school discounts since I'm going to college, and that will be saving me $150. They scheduled an Uber for me for a ride home which was nice. When I got home, they called and told me they got under the car and see that the left CV is much worse, the other is starting to leak ans tear also. They said they emailed me the quote, but I just asked him to tell me over the phone. The total is around $1500. After getting my vehicle back tomorrow I will update the post to reflect the full experience. The reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 is simply due to the $ shock. I read many reviews on different mechanic shops in the area, and am glad I went with this shop.
