Comment : We had not been entirely pleased with some other shops in the area, so we decided to give Meixner a try with an exhaust leak issue on my wife's Flex.They were great! They seemed fairly priced, they were communicative, the issue was resolved perfectly, and they got it done in a timely fashion. Comment : They were nice and professional. Made the efforts to get my car repaired in a timely manner. However, I do think they could have checked with GMC to determine if there was any warranty left on my transmission before charging me for the whole amount.

Comment : IM BACK!! I am happy to let you know that Meixner's came through! The master cylinoid went out and they fixed it! The part was still under warranty so no cost! Most places would have called to tell me that something else is wrong and try to charge me.. so thank you thank thank you Meixner! Thank you for your honesty and kindness. I will be back with any problems i have. I completely trust these guys and recommend them to all! They have been nothing but kind and honest every single time Ive used them. You wont be disappointed!UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! HELLO ALL! So Im back because Im about to contact Meixners because my clutch went out on my car today and it hasnt been a full year since I had my car at this place getting what I'm told is a brand new clutch put on my car. After I posted the original review Miexners replied asking me to send them a private email so we could discuss my issues further. Well I did reach out with my email and no one reached out to me. I tried leaving a nice review after the issues I had before so let's see if it stays that way. I AM NOT PAYING FOR A NEW CLUTCH. Just so we are clear. If they tell me I owe a dime I will do whatever is necessary to make sure this is taken care of. I hope I can come back and leave a great review. If they handle it the way they should I'll change this entire review to a five star. Wish me luck everyone! Hello all! I have had a couple issues with my clutch in my 09 Honda Accord. I was suppose to have my car taken to a private mechanic to have it fixed for around $1000. When AAA showed up to take my vehicle, the driver recommended Miexner's. He said for what I was having done, Miexner's would do it for a lot less and I wouldn't have to have my car towed an extra 50 miles away. So I went with his suggestion. Now I am not knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles so I can't get into detail about the parts and all that so I can just tell you it ended up being something to do with my clutch. I also asked for an oil change and yo have my battery checked because I couldn't get the car start. I was told that it would be a couple days before it would be ready which I expected. I was quoted about $1000. So I get the call that the car is ready. I'm prepared to pay $1000. I arrive and they tell me it's going to be almost $1300. Of course I am floored. I had to save for $1000 so you could imagine my surprise. After the tech spoke with someone he comes back and tells me that they had to do a tune up because the car wouldn't start. Well I already knew that the car wouldn't start. I had asked them to check the battery assuming that's what it was. Again I'm not a mechanic so I just guess. I'm also wondering why I didn't receive a phone call BEFORE the tune up was done. I was angry at first but after I thought about it, if they would have told me it needed a tune up I would have obviously approved it because I wouldn't be able to drive my car otherwise. I am wondering though if I needed the new battery that was put in since it turned out to be bad spark plugs and wires. When I would turn the key all the lights would come on and it would want to start but it just made that noise when it's trying to start but can't. So I paid for a battery I didn't need which is more money I didn't have to waste. So I picked up my car and got to drive it for maybe a week before the clutch went out. I had it towed back to Miexners and after them checking and confirming the clutch (clutch kit) was bad, I was quoted 2400. Of course I went ahead and had the work done. They had it ready in 3 (business) days. I was originally told that my clutch was fine as well. I guess time will tell if I use Miexners in the future. Comment : Fair honest auto repair facility. I have litterly spent several thousand dollars a year here as I own about 7 vehicles. They stand behind their work and covered several items under warranty for me. They have a steady consistent crew that has worked there for many years.
