Comment : This is my go-to shop for repairs in central PA. Trustworthy, reliable, fair price, and didnt try to up-sell or pull any craziness. As a female walking in to an auto repair business, I have had my share of issues in the past, but not here. They were able to figure out my car's problems based off the noises I tried to replicate, and were correct upon their inspection of my vehicle, and checked everything else related to the issue to make sure I was taken care of. They were upfront about the costs, and kept me informed through the entire process. They were respectful and understanding of my anxiety, as I drive roughly 7,000 miles a month on average. I know I'm safe with the work they've done on my car, and I am so grateful to have a great team to work on any of my cars needs. Meineke should be really proud of this shop. Excellent service all around!

Comment : Love this place!! I found my car shop finally!! I went in for a oil change and inspection and a alignment. I even had coupons and the nice guy David at the desk so don't worry about those we give you the discount anyway. Also he said we don't do anything we don't think you need and he said I'll check on that alignment for you before I charge you or tell you if you even need it and he did that and it turned out I didn't need it I just needed more air in my tires and that's very rare that you get that kind of service in a car repair shop... He didn't try to upsell me or sell me anything that I didn't need. I also told him that I have about a thousand more miles before I need an oil change and he said no problem he said come back he agreed because I have a hybrid car and they can go a little further than a lot of cars on full synthetic oil. I was just super pleased with the waiting room it was so much fun I didn't even want to leave. They had a really neat TV program called happy TV and it was so much fun to watch they had great magazines and the coffee was just excellent they had snacks and cokes and everything was just clean and nice. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat go check it out it's the best!!!!

Comment : I’m very disappointed with the service I received at Meineke. I initially brought in my 2014 Kia Sorento V6 for a diagnosis after noticing misfiring, a check engine light on the dashboard, and what I suspected to be a thermostat issue. I clearly informed the staff of all the symptoms before the diagnosis.
After their assessment, I was told the thermostat was fine, and the real issue was the spark plugs and ignition coils. They quoted me $485 to replace them. The car was ready that afternoon, and I drove it home.
That same evening, while taking my wife to work, the same exact problem occurred misfiring and the check engine light was back on. I returned to Meineke the next morning. They said it was still a spark plug and ignition coil issue, replaced it again, and cleared the engine light.
The next day again the check engine light came back on and the car continued misfiring.
At this point, I lost confidence in Meineke’s and decided to take the car to a different auto shop. They properly checked the issue and told me it was the thermostat. The thermostat and housing were replaced for $195, with workmanship costing $90. Also, the second auto shop discovered that Meineke only replaced one spark plug and one ignition coil (both in the front), not all three in the front as they claimed. When I called Meineke to confirm, they insisted they changed all three spark plugs and ignition coil in the front, which clearly was not the case.
The cost they charged for the ignition coil and spark plug replacement was also unreasonably high, especially considering only one was replaced.
In short: The original issue (a clogged thermostat) was misdiagnosed twice . I was overcharged for a partial and ineffective fix. The real problem was fixed elsewhere for significantly less. I trusted Meineke to handle the issue professionally, but the experience was frustrating, time consuming, and costly. I’m extremely disappointed.
