Comment : I have nothing but positive things to say about this shop. From the people at the front desk to the guys out turning wrenches. I took my ol 1996 f250 that was having some issues, running rough, left me stranded on the side of the road a few times, and over all just not healthy. Alan steered me in the right direction after going to another shop and them telling me I needed a bunch of work. Alan took a look at it and had that truck running like it was off the show room floor the next day. Now, I take all of my vehicles to Mckay’s and I try to tell everyone I know to go see them if they have any issues. It’s hard to find transparent and honest people these days. You’ll find them at Mckay’s!

Comment : I needed The BG Oil change and this was done quickly. While doing the service the
Tech found a filter that neede to be replaced and this eas aslo done quickly.
I was taken care of even though I did not
have an appointment.

Comment : I brought my car to mckays for the first time this week to get my brakes repaired, and i am so glad i was referred here as im new to the area! Alan was so kind, and made sure they inspected my older vehicle to assure there was no other major issues. And of course my new brakes are working amazingly. As a young woman I get very nervous going into automotive shops but I felt so comfortable here and will definitely be back!

Comment : So I brought my car in for a clutch and then they said it would also need a flywheel. Then they broke a shifter cable and had to wait for the parts. After three weeks I got the car back and now fifth gear is gone and I wasn't having any trouble with any of the gears before bringing it in. I'm leaving three stars because so far they have been very friendly and helpful in spite of the issues. I'm waiting for them to open on Monday August 4th to see if they will resolve the issue and I will try to update with the resolution.

Monday morning has come and it turned out to be a simple thing and I was in and out very quickly with no charge. Highly recommend automotive shop.

Tuesday problem returns. 5th gear. He says I need my mounts replaced and that's going to do it. I'm afraid that I I'm going to end up needing a new transmission. He said that he can get me in next week on Wednesday

Comment : This place is beyond amazing! The mechanics have all been there since I started using McKays in 2021, this says a lot! They are ALL good!! Alan, the manager (and possibly the owner 🤷🏻?♀) is super honest and goes the extra mile to make sure you understand the work and reason for it. He has saved me money by educating himself on something new to him….who does this in today’s world!!! I take my car there for all maintenance work and repairs and don’t see that changing.

Comment : Even if I was in dire need of car repair and this shop was the only shop open, I would avoid at all cost. I was dropping off a couple of 8 year olds at the dance studio camp next door. There was no parking anywhere, but many spots open at this business (and no signs posted not to park there). What I’m assuming to be as the manager, ran after me yelling asking “what do you think you’re doing” and I told him I’m literally just going to be a couple of minutes and all there is there is fire lanes. His response was “that’s not my problem”. In a world where there is so much grief …do better. Customer service goes a long way.
