Comment : My wonderful 2002 Prius has been serviced by Masaki's since I bought it in 2002. This car never needed any repairs except once when taken to a fender shop because another car hit us in our own driveway. Now, cause unknown, the "brake box'" needs replacement. Masaki's searched finding one in FL.one month ago. ?? I really need my car and wish I could get that item replaced. I am not sure my brakes work or if it is just the brake light. I got. two different answers about that so have not driven for about a month. The turn signal light went out, too, and Masaki's fixed that part..

Comment : I have a 2000 Ford Pick-up which I don't drive every week. It's been a dependable truck for over 4 years. Several months ago starting the truck was not consistent, I had the computer changed, which had to be reprogrammed and purchased a new factory ignition key to no avail. I recalled passing by Masaki years ago when I arrived on island and overheard Darrel explaining to a young lady how to keep her Prius battery healthy, his explanation was simple and complete. Fast forward 8 years, last week (3-25-25) I took my truck to Masaki after several trips to another mechanic. Prior to Masaki servicing my truck, I invested approximately $800.00 plus several subsequent trips at a cost of over $100.00 each trip (not counting the cost of the tow.) Each time the previous mechanic explained he could not duplicate the issue, and billed me. The first week of March I spoke with Darrel from Masaki whose knowledge of my truck's systems was impressive, he placed my truck on his schedule. The third week of March 2025, my truck was at Masaki Auto. Darrel made several attempts to "duplicate" the truck not starting. Several times during the week, Darrel called to update me on his diagnoses or report he could not duplicate the truck not starting, on the 4th day he asked me to bring in the other key, he determined the cause and presented me choices. My confidence driving the truck has been restored. Masaki's bill was fair, not what I was expecting after several days. It's comforting knowing honest, businesses who operated with integrity as a core principal exist. The staff at Masaki from billing to helping exit the lot were all friendly, helpful and patient during my interaction. I would return to Masaki for any future needs and recommend Masaki to a family member and/or friends.

Comment : Was referred to Masaki's from a friend's autobody shop across the street for my parents Camry. Rodney was very helpful over the phone and got us scheduled the next day to replace 2 tires. Price for the tires was good and the service was great. Comment : I ve been coming to this shop for about 5-6 years now. I ve shopped around during this time too just to get an idea on what other shops the island has to offer. My honest opinion is that Masaki s is easily the best. Not only do they care about their customers experience, they are transparent about the repairs , give realistic options, and are super fast about everything.My AC recently went out in my car which we all know sucks here in Hawaii. They gave me a quote for the repairs and told me it would take 3-4 days to get the job done. It was a big job that required a lot of work. To my surprise their team schedule the repair, got parts in, and finished the job on the same day!If you re looking to support a mom and pop business here in Hawaii this is the place. You won t be disappointed. Avoid the cookie cutter businesses that don t care. This shop cares and it shows.I ve been coming to this shop for about 5-6 years now. Comment : I want to write a review of appreciation for Masaki Auto. I have gone to multiple mechanics around the Honolulu area, and Masaki was the only place that was kind, considerate, patient,t and accommodating. They explained everything wrong with my car in extreme detail and respect, which as a young girl in college learning about cars, is truly appreciated. Dave is so awesome and has been a great help to me. I felt safe and respected taking my car to Masaki and they do excellent, honest and thorough work. THANK YOU!

Comment : Called them asking if they knew electrical work and they said yes. explain to them what was going on with my truck and they said to bring it in and they can take a look at it. And I live all the way in Kapolei. I bring it in and just parked my truck and walked in office tells me that they can t do the job don t even take a look under their hood just tells me they can t do it. So pretty much wasted my day. And money ! Thanks Masaki ! Next time just says you don t know how!!!
