Comment : This was my first trip to Mark Porter Chevrolet. I must say; I was quite impressed with the facility (neat & clean--immaculately so), the cordial staff and the amount of inventory on the property.

My salesperson, Kate, was personable and professional. I honestly believe this was the first time I enjoyed the process of trading vehicles. I would recommend that you give Mark Porter consideration the next time you need a vehicle.

Comment : I CALLED NO ONE HAD A CLUE WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT.

I was in town visiting family when my car started acting up. I usually don’t write reviews, but nothing frustrates me more than feeling taken advantage of. I’ve spent over thirty years in the car business, including managing service departments, so I know how long a thermostat job should take.
They tried to tell me it was a 5?-hour job. That simply isn’t true. I walked in expecting maybe a $700–$800 bill. Instead, they hit my service contract company for $1,100 and still charged me $800 out of pocket. Almost $1,900 later, yes, the car was fixed — but the price was way beyond reasonable.
I needed to get back to Florida for work, so I had no choice but to pay it. But the way they treated someone from out of town felt unprofessional and very disappointing. Please be cautious with the Mark Porter service department. My experience left a bad taste and a much lighter wallet.
