Comment : Lou's car care was highly recommended to me after ever so recently moving to upstate NY. My 2006 Cadillac XLR needed some upgraded items under the hood as well as under the car and it was 1st class service by professionals. I am totally impressed with their service and quality of true care in their work-someting that is so hard to find today.

Comment : Head gasket blew while making my way from Maine to the state of Washington. The guys at Lou's gave it to me straight when I thought it was just a coolant issue. Comment : Service guy is great on the front counter he works around your schedule when you need an appointment... I like it that they check the entire car out tires brakes battery and like that when you do an inspection oran oil and filter change.... Comment : I needed new breaks pretty badly. I called Thursday and they got me in the next day. They called me after inspecting my car and I ended up needing a new battery and filter as well. They take photos of everything that needs to be fixed which was nice, and let me know how much it would cost. Overall they did a great job! Comment : I worked with a Gene and he was great as far as keeping us up to date on what repairs needed to be done. He even documented the damage so that we could see what needed to be replaced. Gene and Lou s car care center have definitely earned our trust and will use them in the future if we ever have any car service needs

Comment : I went in for a diagnosis of an oil leak. I was told it was a oil filter housing and that it was leaking badly and needed to be replaced. Cost $1,500! They then said I needed a serpentine belt as it was worn. The cost for that was $257 and they noticed that my rear differentials were wet and that they were not leaking but just wet and they said it would cost $1,000 to replace the seals. So I paid $87.00 for the diagnosis fees and ended up taking it to a different repair shop where they charged me $300 for the oil filter housing repairs and $125 for the serpentine belt that they said was remarkably not worn and they said that the differentials to just watch them. They are wet but they're not leaking. I was really surprised by the high markup on repairs that Lou Car Care quoted me compared to the other repair shop that I went to. And the reason I went to Lou's car care in the first place was because Nino's collision next door which is owned by his brother I believe did a fantastic repair job on my car that was damaged in a collision, five stars to Nino's and I would say one star for Lou's Car Care only because of the high markup on repair costs, unnecessary repairs saying my septine belt was worn and it was not.
