Comment : I highly recommend Lou's Automotive in Blackwood, NJ for anybody looking for a honest Automotive repair facility in the area. Angelo at Lou's diagnosed my Jeep as needing a rear differential as the "service 4 wd " light was coming on. The cost of repair being approximately $4500. My Jeep was over the warranty period of 5 yrs/ or 60,000 miles with 62k+ miles. Angelo went over and beyond by recommending a dealership in the area which he believed would attempt to get the manufacturer pick up the cost or some of the cost rather than scheduling me for repair at his facility. The dealership Lou recommended also diagnosed the same problem as Lou's and ended up getting the manufacturer to pick up 80% of the repair saving me over $3500. I gave Lou's a 5 Star max rating but believe a 10 Star rating would be more appropriate. Angelo, thank you for looking out for your customers!

Comment : This was the first visit to Christian Brothers Automotive Westinghouse Road. I made an appointment and requested oil change, state inspection, air and cabin air filters. Dropped the car off and meet with Lance the Service manager. Gave me an estimate and told me they would contact be when vehicle was ready as well as send me updates which it was being service. They sent me texts letting me know the vehicle was in the shop, it passed inspection, oil was changed using synthetic oil, waiting for cabin air filter. I had received a text with a photo letting me know that the engine air filter looked brand new. I usually keep track of things like that but fail to note that I had recently replaced the air filter, my error. When I picked up the vehicle, the air filter charge had been removed. The service was outstanding. If you are looking for a professional, honest, competent, friendly auto service shop, choose CBA, you will be pleasantly surprised. My biggest regret is that it took me so long to find them.

Comment : Lou is a good mechanic but whatever you do before you allow him to do any work get a specific price and know exactly what he will work on. And then you pause and check with another mechanic or google to see if Lou?s repairs will fix your whole problem and not just mask it or partially fix it and leave the greatest problem in place unresolved. Now think, I?m warning you for a reason.

Comment : I was in the Blackwood area and my check engine started flashing. I wanted to find a reliable auto where I also wouldn?t get ripped off. From all the reviews this place and another had the best ones. Soon as I get in within 20min they told me I needed spark plugs and a core. Gave me a reasonable quote . Since it was close to them closing I had to leave it , so they could order the parts. Next morning at 11 it was done. Will definitely be back for any future services

Comment : I had an excellent experience bringing my car here for the first time. I live in north Jersey and I was told that my serpentine belt was badly cracked and it needed repaired immediately when I brought my car to get new windshield wipers . I could not find a local mechanic with availability to fix my car asap, but I was going to be in the south Jersey area later that day to visit family. I called Lou?s Automotive Center and I was told to bring my car in whenever I could. I immediately could tell that Lou was an honest mechanic who only does what is necessary. My serpentine belt got fixed and my car was ready within 3-4 hours. I cannot say how much I appreciate a mechanic who I?ve never been to before so willingly having the time to fix my car on such short notice. Whenever I am in the area and need work done on my car I?ll be sure to take it to Lou?s!
