Comment : I brought my pickup here back in January because the passenger side door wouldn’t lock—the key would just rotate. After doing some research, I found that a rod inside can come loose over time, which seemed to be the issue. I took it in expecting a fix, but after charging me $160, they told me they couldn’t repair it and didn’t offer any refund because he had spent time trying to fix it and put it back in it spot three separate times. They claimed the rod had bent and there was no way to fix it. However, I’ve since learned this is a common issue with my model, and the solution is simply to bend the rod back into place. I’m disappointed as I thought this was one of the more trustworthy shops

Comment : These guys are great. I just needed an inspection and they got me turned around in 20 minutes even though they looked plenty busy. Had a complimentary snack and a coffee while I waited, and got to listen to Welcome to the Machine by Pink Floyd on their old school radio. Even got a hand written letter in the mail thanking me. I do almost all my own work on my cars but I’ll definitely be thinking of, or recommending Lorentz if I need anything.

Comment : Lorentz auto sure did take care of me this past week!! Got my car in and it was a quick turn around for my little Kia soul! Shane listened to my woman mumble about my car and Frank got it done! Also the guy let me have the rest of the cookies on a Friday that was the cherry on top! If you want a super thorough inspection of your vehicle they will get it done! I’m very happy and thankful to have my car back! Also they ALWAYS ANSWER THE PHONE and they have a text service as well. Extremely happy is an understatement. Take your car to this local spot…. LORENTZ AUTO is it!

Comment : I had a disappointing experience here. I was told diagnostics would cost $190, but ended up being charged $350 for two separate checks — without a clear explanation that each issue would be billed individually until after I got my email with the updated estimates. That should’ve been communicated upfront before I signed anything.

I was also told my car was ready, but still waited another 15 minutes. When I finally got it back, the interior smelled strongly of body odor — like someone had been sweating in it. They left my windows down to air it out, but I had to clean it myself afterward as the smell lasted until the next day.

The explanations I received were vague, and the tone came off as condescending at times in person and through text. Rather than walking me through the actual results, I got analogies that assumed I didn’t know anything about about my car, enough I was asked if I cooked (was given analogy to engine oil vs cooking oil) or what I did for work (I forgot the name of the purge valve part at the time).

I understand dealership pricing tends to be higher, but the lack of transparency, communication, and care made this a truly poor experience. I won’t be returning nor would recommend to anyone.

Comment : If you want a local auto repair shop that has not only mechanical and vehicle electronic experience but fair pricing and integrity I recommend Lorentz Automotive. I own a 2004 motorhome on a Ford chassis that no one wants to touch. Lorentz said yes and quickly figured out and repaired my check engine light issue. I am grateful for their crew and willingness to say YES and to take in my RV when others turned me away. Great work and very fair pricing. Thank you so much!
