Each and every time their estimate has been accurate and their work on point. I've seen a few reviews about the cost. There are some things I can fix, others I can't, so to pay a business to make our vehicle whole again is to be expected. This specific episode happened to be the transfer case which had absolutely grenaded. I received the call at lunch time on day three that my truck was complete and ready for pick up. Not only was she rude to me on the phone when she mistakenly told me that my car was ready, but she didn t realize I was the wrong customer she was speaking to regarding my vehicle. I was given a 3-4 day time frame and 4400 quote. I waited a lot longer than I could afford to and had to keep extending time on my rental vehicle. In the end I paid about 5400 dollars. It would have been 5600, but thankfully they were willing to work with me and lowered it a bit. I would ve given them 3 stars, but the lady working the front needs to check her attitude. Very rude to not only me, but my mother when we asked for clarification on pricing from the manager. My car was promptly brought in for a check. After about 15 minutes a very sweet gentleman came out with a huge book showing schematics of my transmission and told me it was bad. He explained the problem and honestly suggested it was time for a new car since the repair cost would be significant. He gained nothing by telling me this, didn???t steer me to a dealer, just honestly told me that he would do the work but he didn???t advise it. I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to meet someone so honest and selfless. I do not know anyone at this shop, in fact, I know very few people in the area as a relative newcomer so I am not writing this review to boost his profile, I just want to let anyone looking for service that this shop is the real deal. I dropped my vehicle off today for the diagnosis and came back an hour later. When arriving they told me that I was having a transmission surge which I mentioned when booking and asked them to find out why. Instead of looking into why it may be happening they simply made a suggestion that I take it to a dealership to diagnose. Then requested I pay $80. My car had no work done on it nor was there any information on how to repair the issue or what the issue was. They simply said they couldn???t figure it out and to ask someone else. Considering the car was only dropped off for an hour no one researched what the issue could be simply just moved on to the next car because it was too difficult and were short staffed that day. Also when booking the appt, the receptionist should have mentioned there is an $80 fee. Or when dropping my car off she could???ve mentioned that. I had no prior knowledge that I would be paying anything for nothing being done until it came time to retrieve my keys which is extremely unprofessional. The fee existing is not an issue, it???s that there should have been a conversation about a price prior to anything being done.Dealership charges a $200 fee to diagnose the issue and will keep the car until they figure out what???s wrong with it. If this company was going to be lazy and not even look into what the issue was I don???t see the reasoning for charging $80 for telling me absolutely nothing. This place was recommended to me so I had much higher expectations especially a shop that specializes in this line of work vs a dealership that???s working on a million different aspects of the vehicle. Really disappointed that I had to waste $80 and got no where with fixing my vehicle.
