Comment : I started my initial appt with Daniel Byun which he did a great job in getting me all the info for an initial estimate of what I thought needed to be done on my car. He had to pass this off to David Aguilar since Daniel was just starting paternal leave and this is where it turned slightly off. David took care of me with everything that Daniel had set up (loaner car and initial appt to outline all the items that needed to be fixed), however, after everything was complete I had noticed that the labor charge for a service was higher than initially quoted with Daniel. When I came in to pick my car up (after it was finished) I asked David about this explaining that the labor charge was too high. He continued to say that it was correct. He even pulled up the initial estimate that Daniel had done with the lower, correct labor charge and was still too adamant on being corrected on his mistake. He had charged me $975 for something that was quoted to me for $750 with no additional labor required. I had suggested that maybe he hadn't taken into account the fact that the alignment was a line charge and he didn’t need to double charge me for the labor done for this. Again he denied my suggestion and said that the $975 was correct. It took having to wait til Daniel was back in the office to correct him and come to the conclusion that I needed a refund. I told him exactly why he was charging me so much and he denied it every time. I should not have to be the one telling your service advisor how much to charge me. I was correct on why it was incorrectly charged. I also should not have to be the one catching this mistake about overcharging. Now how am I supposed to trust your shop to charge the correct amount? I also had asked David to change my key batteries to which he said he did when he handed the keys back to me and they were still dead when I drove off the lot. David was the downfall here. I have nothing bad to say about Daniel’s service but David dropped the ball here several times and I don’t have much confidence in his ability. Good thing I have a great eye on my expenses because I would have had to pay $225 more than I should have and that is simply unacceptable especially coming from a highly rated Lincoln dealership. I like this shop but it’s going to be hard to convince me to come back especially since they were not willing to comp me anything for this inconvenience. Luckily I will hopefully be getting a credit for the $225 extra that was charged on my bill.
