The check engine light cam back on intermittantly about a month later. When I arrived to get the work done, I was told it would be $350. That was easily twice what I had expected. I declined the work and went to NAPA auto parts, bought a new stud, went home and did it myself in 1 1/2 hours. It cost me $16.93. I understand overhead and having to pay employees, but holy cow, let's at least try to be fair and reasonable. I feel bad for people who don't know any better or don't have the means or knowledge to repair things.
