Comment : Great experience. Mark was very helpful and turned out I just needed to learn something new on my rig. But thank you to Miss Kimberly for allowing me to run over real quick and Mark for taking the time to look at my unit. Very helpful, especially for travelers on the road who are often given long runaround’s and waiting times!

Comment : July 10 2025 just want post my experience with this shady business I had my car dropped off just free estimate what I was told just get few things checked on it even though already had anthor garage check it just was looking for cheaper price so there is no such thing as free estimate here most garages charge 85 to 185 for diagnostic on a vehicle but not gonna pay someone tell me what already know so it took them 3 days let me know what was wrong after told them what was wrong with it but this story only gets better they check the whole car out claiming my son told them to he said he didn't and I told them what to check not the whole car out they charged me 343 dollars for diagnostic tell me what I already know what was wrong if they were going charge ridiculous price I would got somebody come got it from day 1 yeah that was big rip off then they gave me list what was wrong with the car came out 6300 dollars then tried add transmission in the deal for 12500 who in the right mind gonna spend that kind money on 07 car really so needless say their diagnosis was completely wrong doesn't need tires just need rotation doesn't need no transmission the transmission shifts like butter so what kind shady business is this I found anthor garage do exactly what they gonna do no transmission work because there is nothing wrong with it going get it fixed for 900 dollars big difference then 6300 dollars because they got lake Gaston on the building doesn't mean it's great place just like the lake sure isn't great up there either so if you got lots money to throw away and over charge this is the perfect place for you get your car fixed at they got me for 343 dollars for diagnostic tlthat I didn't request for most garages don't charge that much check vehicle our lot charge nothing because they gonna work on it gave one star because the negative star rating is unavailable hopefully everyone reads this before you go here they will definitely scam you don't care if they do

Comment : Our trailer hitch had tilted away due to a missing bolt. Went in, and was helped immediately and had my hitched fixed and back installed and back on the road in 10 minutes! Highly recommend and will absolutely go back!

Comment : Brought in a civic that needed a lot. Needed transmission fluid, a new TPMS sensor, and a new radiator fan. I figured this would be a multi day thing, they'd need to order parts.

They got the parts that day. Installed it that day. Found out the fuse blew. They fixed the fuse that day. Very capable and quick with getting parts.

This shop is an hour and a half from home and I will return here because the work they do here is that good.

Comment : The team at Lake Gaston Auto & RV are exceptional! I unfortunately haven't been keeping up maintenance as I should have - transmission fuel was burnt and a broken radiator fan (a pinecone!) - but to Lake Gaston Auto it was an easy fix. Mark was very thorough in making sure everything went smoothly and went out of his way to get the radiator fan the same day! He also fixed my multifuse block easily, something I didn't even notice needing fixing. (And by fixing the block himself showed his skill and proficient technical ability, allowing me the comfortability of reassurance!)

It was a steal of a price for the hard labor and parts, and I'm grateful for Mark's team for the effort they put forward to making sure myself and my car were taken care of.

Comment : I was traveling down south in my motor home when I had a check engine light come on.I took it to a different repair shop where I was taken advantage of.Called a local Ford dealer and they recommended Lake Gaston Auto.I called them they took me right in and fixed the problem and had me back on the road in no time.I wish I had called them in the first place but lesson learned I now have a repair shop I can go to if needed and not have to worry about being ripped off.If I could give them more then five stars I would.

Comment : We were traveling through and broke down in our motorhome and they got us fixed and back on the road in four hours. Very accommodating as we had pets with us. Highly recommend.
