Comment : I brought my car in for an oil change. The oil leaked out within 2days and I had to add a quart of oil. Kohl's repaired the leak and told me they brought all fluids up to the proper level. Later that day, my car alerted me that the oil level was low. I had to return to Kohl's and they added a quart of oil. At first they said it's probably a sensor, but that was not the problem. I was expecting them to reimburse for the oil I purchased as well as compensate for the 2 additional trips to straighten out the problem. They offered bupkis. So, I recommend that you thoroughly inspect your vehicle before leaving Kohl's.

Comment : Had service done getting an ac condenser put in and ended up failing, the quality of the parts are extremely poor and I wouldn't recommend them one bit. I called to question about warranty and was told it was out of their hands, upon me doing the job myself the welds were leaking refrigerant and it literally looked like someone sat on the condenser or something because it was bent and twisted. I called them and explained that the condenser failed and everything and was told to shut up and it's my problem and to not contact again by the owner!! Very unprofessional place and scam artist

Comment : I do not judge anyone and this may be a very good shop but I give you my experience to hopefully save anyone else from the same situation. I had several issues with my Mercedes SL550 of which I only wanted Kohl to repair two items. Being a 2007 model, I called ahead to make sure they could replace the hardtop acuator and the AC compressor. The lady I spoke with ask the shop and she said they could make the repairs. Since I had to drive a considerable distance, I made an appointment so naturally I thought my car would be taken into the shop upon my arrival and my car would not sit out. My work order requested a call from the mechanic after the issues were diagnosed to let me know the results and the cost of the repairs. After two weeks of waiting I became concerned and called to see if they had diagnosed the problem. I was told my car was too old and they were just too busy and to please come pick it up. I was utterly amazed since I had called first to make sure they could do the repairs. Two days wasted delivering the car to them and returning to pick it up.I do not judge anyone and this may be a very good shop but I give you my experience to hopefully save anyone else from the same situation. Comment : I've brought two vehicles here recently (van & truck), both for different air conditioning problems. One just had restricted air flow, and the other needed a new condenser. I was so impressed by their service that I've scheduled routine maintenance on both and the brake repair. You will need an appointment because these folks do stay busy.. for good reason. The owner (Mr. Gray) and his staff are professional, helpful, and *honest*. There's no indication or feeling of them 'selling' unnecessary repairs. When working on my van, they found that my brakes needed minor work (not a surprise since I've never had any brake work done on that 20 year old vehicle). They simply listed their findings on my bill - they didn't call trying to sell me hundreds of dollars of extra work. I also need a new windshield and asked the owner if he could recommend someone. He gave us the name of the company they use, but he said the work can be done on site by that company, if we wanted, while the vehicle is there for the brake job - and Kohl's makes all the arrangements. Getting both repairs taken care of at once at the same place is very convenient. Apparently, Kohl's has a great reputation & has been in business a long time, but I've just discovered them. Kohl's is definitely my new go-to for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Comment : My husband went in person to question if his warranty from a major dealership would be honored. the front desk woman(very nice indeed) went to ask the boss. He told her that only the part would be covered and the owner would be responsible for labor. My husband agreed and dropped his car off first thing Monday am. They checked to see was needed ordered the part and when he went to picket uphill car today he was billed double what he agreed on. He spoke with the owner who said "I Never said we would honor any any parts under warranty." Seems very dishonest?
