Comment : So I got into an accident, not my fault. My car started overheating, so at the request of a family member I chose to let KJ Lee’s work on the issues. The first day during business hours, no one answered the phone, so I went down there and apparently they had gone home and it was only 9am. Finally we get there on a different day and drop off the car. They say nothing is wrong with it, and they did some service and “reconnected” the fan. The car was seeming to work ok, but I was extremely skeptical, and let them know I felt like it would happen again. “We can’t find anything wrong with it, our guy took it for a drive and really gave it its all.” Then we get a call saying they will start charging per day if we don’t come pick it up. Well I’m on my way home from work on the freeway and now I’m stranded because the car overheated again. I called and all Ray could say was well, I believe you, and you can bring it back. Maybe if he would have “believed” me in the first place! Never again will I use this crap place, if they would have listened in the first place I wouldn’t be in this position.

Comment : On Feb 7,2025, my Toyota Avalon wouldn't start and I was at work and with AAA towing, I used these guys since they were part of the AAA recommended shop. They replaced my starter, and charged me $659.57, which was high but was just glad to get it fixed.

Today, 4/28/25, my car wouldn't start again and since I was at home I had it towed to my local mechanic. This time it was the starter again!! My mechanic said it was a used starter that was in poor shape. It lasted less than 3 months and these guys at KJ Lee's are crooks as far as I can tell. I was fine with the high price since that's what they do with AAA, but never again. I will pay the extra towing to tow to my mechanic who I trust. I have put in a complaint to AAA and hopefully these guys gets kicked out of AAA service recommended list.

Oh yeah, also my mechanic replaced that crap starter with a new one for $325
