Comment : My name is Heather Cook. On December 30 I had an appointment for my 23 ford explorer. It was for an oil change, state inspection and a wobble sound from the front drivers side wheel.

I made the appointment at Parson’s because of the state inspection. When I picked up my car I was told that I needed new struts and shocks (why would I need this for a vehicle with 15,000 miles on it?). I was told the parts would be in in 2-3 weeks.

I waited the entire 3 weeks before calling for a status update. I could not get in touch with my service advisor Tyler. I left multiple messages with the service department, on Tyler’s voicemail and even his own personal phone number that was given to me.

This went on for a few weeks. So I decided to call the service manager and of course I had to leave a message. I did not receive a call back from him even after waiting a few days for a response.

I decided to send an email to Frederick Parsons, the service manager, Traver Brown and Tyler. After this I received a call from Tyler saying my parts were on back order and would be ready February 27. I waited 2 weeks after this date and I called for a status update but again, I had to leave a message.

It has now been over 3 weeks since my message and no one has called me. I’ve since called Hagerstown Ford, got an appointment the same week, got my parts as my car fixed in 2 days.

Your service department is absolutely terrible. I owned a ford about 7 years ago and was never pleased with the service department there but I thought, it’s been a while since I’ve been there and I needed a state inspection so I gave it another chance. But now I know it’s worse than before. Something needs to be done about the service of Kent Parsons all the way to top. Because if I received an email telling me that a customer was unhappy about service, I would definitely be contacting them as the “dealer principle”.

I have not received any phone calls from Kent pardons. Yet on March 29th I received an email asking how my service was on March 26th. I don’t know whose car was serviced that day but it wasn’t mine.

Comment : Curtis and Mark were phenomenal to work with. Being an out of town buyer, they were great sharing all details and finalizing a deal over the phone. When I arrived, the vehicle was spotless and all paperwork was ready for me to sign. Thank you all for this incredible customer experience. Top notch all the way around!!!

Comment : I ve been debating for a while if I wanted to leave this review or not, but I want others to beware. My husband and I are young and pre-ordered a brand new Ford Maverick from this location about 1.5 years ago. It took about 7-8 months for the wait plus production time. When the Maverick arrived at the location, we were not notified until days later, after several people had been let to test drive it and it had 8k miles on it. We were furious but needed the new truck so went forward with the purchase anyway, which we now regret.We have the truck paid off and have decided not to do business with this location in the future. We believe that because we are young (22 and 24 at the time of purchase) that the guys here figured they could take advantage of us and have some fun rides in a brand new Ford Maverick when they came out, and we wouldn t know the difference. Comment : Mid trip home to ohio from Virginia, i had a misfire start up in my 2021 transit. 5 children and the missus with me, trying to get home. Tom my van in, diagnosed and repaired in about an hour. Got me back on the road and home on time!! One very happy customer, one super happy wife and family!!
