Comment : I brought my car in due to multiple warning lights on the dashboard and approved a full diagnostic and repairs based on their recommendations. The total cost ended up being over $3,000.

After replacing several components, I was informed that the issue might still be related to the fuel injectors, which would require thousands more in repairs. At no point was I given a clear, confident diagnosis before these major repairs were performed.

This feels like a process of replacing parts without identifying the root cause. As a customer, I relied on their expertise and ended up with a significant bill and a vehicle that is still not reliable.

As someone who depends on a reliable car and has already invested a substantial amount of money, this situation is not acceptable. I expected more transparency and a more accurate diagnosis before being advised to proceed with such costly repairs.

Very disappointing experience.

Comment : SHOUT OUT! to Peter, the lead mechanic, was very easy to work with and clearly knows his stuff. While the initial repair quote was a bit high, we were able to come to a reasonable price to get my SUV back on the road. Kauai Auto Repair is the place to go for any major work. Comment : Nah I always be letting my Safety Check expire because I forget about it until the Registration comes and so I'm always stacked and rushing to get it done. One place turned me away before; KAR always squeezes me in and gets me out quick no matter my mood. They save me time and tickets/fines for 2 years in a row now and they never make any comments about the cleanliness or lack thereof of my car ?????? These are my cousins, classmates, and friends ??
