Comment : The good folks at K&S squeezed me in a week ago when my check engine light came on and gave me a free diagnostic test, which I followed up a week later with a smoke test because one of the results was for a very small leak. In actuality there wasn’t a leak--I needed to take it to the dealership for a software update--but they gave me a super-helpful diagnostic report that I could take with me to the dealership to show exactly what I would need to have done. When I called a VW dealership to see if I had to get this addressed right away, the service advisor told me no and that it was smart to do the smoke test to make sure nothing else was problematic, so I feel so much better about doing a good amount of driving over the next week!

I ended up sitting in their waiting area, which is quite nice and spacious, though you’ll need to bring your own beverages/snacks. (There is a coffee shop right down the street too.) Otherwise, they had chairs, desks, outlets, and good wi-fi to use, so I was able to put my waiting time to good use. The crew here is kind and knowledgeable, and I will definitely come back here in the future!

Comment : New Go-To MechanicThese guys are terrific and I m glad I found them. They do fast work, don t try to upsell you on unnecessary work, and above all else come across as honest.I took our Prius in first, loved how they handled it, then took in our Impreza the next week. Guy on the phone even recognized my name when I called to make an appointment for the Subaru. Comment : Go elsewhere - it s not worth it!Went in for a simple tire change. Left with steering issues and a supposed bent wheel. Comment : Had a check engine light pop up this week, and our dealership couldn t look at it til after the holidays. Called them, since they re just down the street. They offered to let me know what the light was on for the same day, and said if it was simple they d fix it if not at least they could tell me what was going on. Was a minor issue and they fixed it same day. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful.
