Claremont, CA Reviewed : 12/24/2020 Comment : This has been the most awful experience we have had. Our car had been making a noise, so we decided to take it in to figure out what the problem was and see if it was covered by our extended warranty that we pay for. I will say that we are a family of 5 and currently expecting our next baby. So we have appointments and places to be almost daily & we do not all fit in our other car. We dropped it off the morning of Friday, November 27- the day after Thanksgiving Day. Erica, our point of contact, said they would keep it over the weekend to let us know by Monday afternoon what the diagnosis of the car was and we would move on from there. Come Monday, it's almost 6pm and we still have not heard from her- so we decide to call her and we get sent to voicemail. Never received a call back on Monday. Tuesday morning passes and we finally get a call on Tuesday afternoon informing us that our car still hasn't been looked at and they will be working on it over the next couple of days, we'd have an answer on Thursday OR Friday. Great, so our car has been sitting there for 5 days. Thursday rolls around, we are waiting for a call or at least and update on our car- nothing. Friday comes and goes and at about closing time, we get a call with what's wrong. Erica then says she has to call the warranty to see if it's covered and we will move from there. Monday comes and goes, nothing. We call her and we're transferred and sent straight to voicemail with no call back by end of day. Same thing Tuesday. When we finally get through to her, she says, "hi nick" letting us know she knew exactly who's calling from the number. She tells us they need the last four maintenance repair records. Easy, we get them to her and call the next day to make sure they were reviewed via email. We are then told she's not in office. We understand there are things that come up, but a heads up and a point of contact that we can communicate with would have been what someone with customer service skills would have provided. Alas, we're left in the dark yet another day. When she finally decides to have communication, she asks what our warranty phone number is- last i checked, it's not my job nor responsibility to provide this but, another day wasted because she couldn't find a number. Several more days pass, another week passes and we are still waiting, calling, being transferred and ignored until we are fed up and call the warranty ourselves. The warranty informs us that it has already been approved on their end and provide us with a rental confirmation. Something Erica probably wouldn't have informed us of for several more days. But, we didn't mind doing things ourselves if it meant getting a mode of transportation to finally be able to transport our family around. This entire process was a nightmare and i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, at least not to Erica who was appointed to us in the service department. After 22 days, with the actual repair only taking 3 of those days- we finally got our car back. And the icing on the cake was Erica letting us know that we'd be receiving a survey and that they loved 10s & that we recommended them. In turn we'd get a free oil exchange! No thanks, i would rather pay $100 for an oil change and not have you keep my car for almost a month, dodging our calls and not keeping customers at the very least updated. I was skeptic to take it in right before the holidays because I wasn't sure how much I was going to spend. My Service Advisor Rylee assured me that it was taken care of under my powertrain warranty and was super helpful in making sure to let me know what was wrong with my Jeep. How do you keep a person's car from a Friday to a Tuesday and no work has been done on the car. No communication whatsoever was even given on what was going on with our car. Had my Car Towed there and upon arrival was told that was not in for no recall that I had to pay for service.
