Comment : This was the first visit to Christian Brothers Automotive Westinghouse Road. I made an appointment and requested oil change, state inspection, air and cabin air filters. Dropped the car off and meet with Lance the Service manager. Gave me an estimate and told me they would contact be when vehicle was ready as well as send me updates which it was being service. They sent me texts letting me know the vehicle was in the shop, it passed inspection, oil was changed using synthetic oil, waiting for cabin air filter. I had received a text with a photo letting me know that the engine air filter looked brand new. I usually keep track of things like that but fail to note that I had recently replaced the air filter, my error. When I picked up the vehicle, the air filter charge had been removed. The service was outstanding. If you are looking for a professional, honest, competent, friendly auto service shop, choose CBA, you will be pleasantly surprised. My biggest regret is that it took me so long to find them.

Comment : I brought my car in specifically for an airbag/SRS light diagnosis and was told they could handle it. After the appointment, I was informed they don?t have the necessary tools and would need to involve a third-party diagnostic company. This limitation was not disclosed up front, which is the frustrating part.
I was fine paying for their own diagnostic and had only asked to be kept informed if it exceeded an hour. Instead, I was told a third party would be required after the fact, and I was still charged a full diagnostic fee even though no new information was provided beyond what I already knew.
The issue isn?t that they can?t do SRS work ? it?s that this wasn?t communicated before accepting the job. Clear expectations up front would have avoided the frustration.
