Comment : Ig you are looking for a Ford product, there is, in my opinion only one dealership to deal with, James River Ford. I have dealt with Mike O'Hare (GM) and Matt Stafford for the last 4 vehicles. They are straight forward and pleasant to deal with. I took my niece to JRF when she told me she wanted to trade vehicles and they took the time and effort to make sure she was happy with her choice prior to driving back to Florida. Mike and Matt do not try and baffle you with BS, they want to sell you a vehicle and will go out of their way to do so.

Comment : Honestly, I have had really bad experiences at Ford service departments. But that was when I lived in Dallas.
I bought a new vehicle from James River Ford, and already had the first oil change done.

In Dallas, when buying a new car, it would take hours upon hours, and they would try and tack on all sorts of fees and charges. But not at James River Ford.

In Dallas, an oil change would take 2 hours, and you would have to have an appointment. At James River Ford, an oil change took only 45 minutes. And I did not even have an appointment.

Yeah, I'll be using them as my home Ford shop going forward.

Comment : This was my first purchase at James River Ford. Although I have been buying Fords for fifty years. Ashley Tidwell was the salesperson who assisted me. She was great to deal with, great personality, I would highly recommend her to friends and family.
