Comment : After my visit and original review, I received a call letting me know that the required computer update should have been covered, and my payment would be refunded - including my other services today. I can sincerely recommend James River Ford! Updated to 5 stars.

My service department experience was great. My recall issue and as it turned out a computer update issue were both addressed, along with my oil change and tire rotation. And I had my vehicle back in time for an evening event. The only thing that could be improved is I did pay $199 for diagnostics on the issue that turned out to be a needed computer update — seems like Ford shouldn’t charge me for that. But overall this service department has made a positive impression enough that I would look at purchasing here in the future.

Comment : As a first time buyer James River Ford made my experience easy, and worked with me on creating a plan that worked for me, as well as made sure I had solid coverage through their warranties. Byron Dunn, their sales associate did an amazing job on answering any questions, and following up to make sure everything was going well with my purchase. I would definitely recommend them for purchases. They were very family friendly and made sure I was aware of all the terms and conditions. Their owner Corey Bunger, was involved also to see how the process was going. They made sure all needs were met.

Comment : Easiest vehicle purchase I've ever made! Jeremy was fantastic to work with, if you are in need of a new or used vehicle please ask for him at James River Ford, he made the process actually enjoyable ( I have never enjoyed a car purchase). Would buy from him again tomorrow if I needed something! Was in and out within 2 hours (and that was after witnessing a wreck & him pushing the car out of the intersection)
