Comment : Went with my mother and father, April and Joe, to look at a used car to test drive and potentially purchase. We had a specific one in mind, and Jeremy Calce readied it for us. He was personable, patient, kind, polite, never pushy, thorough, and honest with us about the car, its price negotiations, and where his knowledge extended, or did not extend. He had extensive knowledge on some of the car's mechanics from his previous work. Where he wasn't sure of something, he directed us to who could answer, or said he would find out and did so promptly. He even apologized for the wait to see financing, even though it wasn't his fault.If you want the opposite of a sleazy salesman, I highly recommend him. He treated us the way I wish every salesman would treat a customer. I am normally uncomfortable with the entire car-buying process, but his demeanor put me at ease the entire way through.The dealership is also covering any hail damage from the storms a couple weeks ago for free, which is appreciated. Comment : Very disappointed again, and the last straw with the service department at this dealership. In fairness I will say that the advisors are friendly and courteous however, the entire service experiences I have had at JamesRiver Ford have been less than impressive.In the last 12 + months I had had my vehicle in for oil changes and related service work 4 times, of those 4 times, 3 of those services there have been issues like not returning the key for my wheel locks to the vehicle after the service resulting in a wasted trip back to Ozark form Springfield to retrieve it, not completing all of the requested services before returning my vehicle, not receiving requested quotes for parts and service that I would have had the dealership do, and more.Three days after my last and less than impressive service service visit, the last straw was on 3.24.2024 when my fianc?, who was also a James River Customer had a dead battery while doing errands in Nixa requiring her to get a jump start from a good samaritan as I was out of town. She took the vehicle to JRF only to be told it was just a loose terminal connection, and no one bothered to take a moment to simply test the battery. Simple logic dictates that if it needed a jump start, perhaps a test is in order to see if it is holding a charge. And needs replacement. Instead she was sent on her way only to have the same incident occur the following morning when attempting to drop off her son at school and go to work.Sadly, it is very disappointing to receive these kinds of experiences from a dealership where one expects better service that I/we have had over these few and final visits.Very disappointed again, and the last straw with the service department at this dealership. Comment : Brett Williams was the best thing that could have happened to us while looking for a new truck. We had been to several dealerships with no luck. But when we got to James River Ford Brett saw us on the lot listened to what we're wanted and showed us the truck that fit our budget and wants. Comment : Traveling from Minnesota, we noticed the rear tire rapidly losing air. With 8 of us in the van, we pulled into this service area for help. Figuring it may take 15-30 minutes to fix. Explained our problem to the manager but said all the workers were halfway into their work and could not do anything. Traveling the freeway was not safe with that tire.
