Comment : I feel like that we try time and time again to give Land Rover Rancho Mirage grace, but honestly I've hit my final straw. Our discovery was brought in to have our windshield replaced, we were given a loaner, I let them know that our brake pad sensor light was on as well, and that needed to be addressed. They had the car for about five days, apparently the windshield they received initially had damage to it, they said they could have put it in, but they decided not to, to which I said thanks for deciding not to put in a damaged windshield when the reason we were there was to replace the damaged windshield that was leaking water. They let us know the car that the car was ready and I get in the car and I see the brake pad sensor light is still on, they proceeded to tell me, well we told your husband that we couldn't figure it out and that they had told my husband about it and just wanted the car back. I told them that they didn't tell him about the light because we would have had them fix it and they're like he was adamant that we wanted the car back, which was not true, I just wanted my car fixed. So I called my husband after I left and asked about what they said when they told him the car was ready and why did he decide not to have the brake light fix which was either an easy sensor replacement or a wire shortage, he told me they didn't tell me anything about the brake pad light being still on. So I'm irate at this point, we have yet to have a decent experience at Land Rover in general and we are always so reluctant to even go there, I have searched for a place that can repair luxury vehicle's because land rovers disregard of delivering an form of decent customer service in their service department. After leaving I go to the grocery store and I look in my car and I see that ALL of the trash from my windshield replacement is in the back of my car and basically how I dropped my car off to them is not in its original shape. Instead my car is full of trash and not respected at all. We have a lot of friends who love our car and have actively looked at them and we have deterred all of our friends from buying one because that means dealing with this dealership. We loved the car so much that our family purchased three. My husband and I wanted to upgrade to the new defender and we're in the process of designing one to buy, but we have decided we are DONE with Land Rover all together and we are selling our land rovers. We are down in San Diego and had an issue with our key and we reluctantly went to Carlsbad Land Rover and he saw that our brake pad sensor light was on and we explained what happened and how they had told me that it would take a really long time and a deep dive to figure out what was wrong when the gentleman at the service department said that's absolutely not the case. He told us pending if it was a wire shortage or a bad sensor it should just take a day to a few days depending on what it's stock. He told us honestly that's just pure laziness on their end and told us if he had the time that he would look into it for us. It made us feel a bit better knowing that it's not Land Rover as a whole that incompetent, it's Indigo auto group who doesn't care about their clients. But since we live in the desert and not San Diego we can't keep holding out hope that somehow, some way Land Rover rancho mirage will change. We have shared our feedback time and time again, and each time I try to give grace, but truly I am so done, so exhausted, so over hating the car I drive because I know I don't have a dependable dealership standing behind me. If you're looking to buy a Land Rover, beware of the lack of care that they will give to you and the laziness they deliver. My husband did call and expressed his frustration and they offered to bring the car back in and that they would detail the car for us and try to fix the sensor, but at this point I am so done, I am so over them trying to do right, what they should have done right in the first place. For a luxury car, I am receiving the least luxurious experience. I've worked in customer and client care my whole career and have trained people on how to make sure people are overwhelmed with happiness and want to continue coming back. Land Rover rancho mirage and indigo auto group need an eye opening when it comes to actually caring about their clients.
