Comment : I bought my used vehicle from Jack Chevrolet, and the first time I kicked that baby into reverse, I realized the brakes squealed like a banshee—alarming both pedestrians and my dignity. After multiple attempts to get in touch, I finally got a response only after leaving a public review. The service manager assured me they’d take care of it, promising to replace the rear brake pads with brand new ceramic ones.

After a few appointments (while spending money on unrelated services and trusting they were fixing my brakes), the issue was still very much alive—and loud. Eventually, I was told, “there’s nothing more we can do.” Fast-forward less than a year and—surprise!—another service provider said the rear brake pads needed replacing. Once they were actually replaced, the squeal magically disappeared.

I even emailed the service manager again, just to see what he’d say about me needing new brake pads so soon—crickets. No response.

Now, I’m not saying Jack Chevrolet didn’t replace them the first time… but let’s just say, the math isn’t mathing.
