Would not recommend anyone to buy from here. 1 Reviews Litl gunner Marion, IL All that said, a week later I noticed oil leaking near the VVT Solenoid, but I couldn't tell if it was the VVT leaking or the new gaskets they put on (and apparently failed to torque down). I told them if it was the VVT I would be open to having it fixed, and they quoted me over 1k for the VVT and to remove/replace the new gaskets they had installed also. I was going to do that, but had to go out of town and needed the van. While out of town, I brought the van to a mechanic and he showed me a bolt that was hand loose near the VVT on the housing, he tightened it down, and it seemed to stop the oil seepage.Maybe it really is the VVT, time will tell, but I would advise against having this dealership do any large-scale maintenance on your vehicle if you want it back timely, and done correctly.I have had small problems with them in the past, not putting the oil cap back on, changing air filters but leaving leaves/debris inside, and forgetting to put the plastic engine cover back on... So, I guess it's my own fault for trusting them to do a more in-depth job.'> Reviewed : 10/21/2025 Comment : I hate leaving bad reviews. But something seems to be seriously wrong with the service department. Had my Odyssey for over a month for the Piston Ring recall, when I went and got it, I saw a number of wires and bolts not connected in the engine bay, so they said come the next day. Went the next day and it looked better, went to drive it away but they did not connect the AC back up and it was 95 out, so had to return it again. Let’s start with i’m a 19 yo mom I happen to be blessed with a good amount of money and I invested in a vehicle and thought I could trust honda unfortunately NOPE!! I went there and spent WELL over 19,000$ on a used car I was told Was in amazing shape and “SHOULDNT CAUSE ME PROBLEMS FOR YEARS” I was even convinced NOT TO GET A WARRANTY BECAUSE OF HOW WELL THE CAR RAN” unfortunately less than a week after the purchase back at the end of july 2025 the tire was ALREADY FLAT they “missed a piece” when they had it in the shop before the purchase so they paid for that well less than 2 months after that the car started running terrible, I tried to get it in the shop with them the women I talked to had miscommunication with me and scheduled the wrong date for me to get the car in so here we are in october I get the car in their shop and MY TRANSMISSION IS GOING OUT BUT THEY “CANT” “WONT” fix it the cost IS ON ME and i’m sorry but i’ve put less than 5,000 miles on this car and I DIDNT RUN THR TRANSMISSON OUT!!!! I’m scared to even call them and schedule something with them because I feel distrust after my last experience with them.For reference I am a girl who doesn’t know anything about mechanics. However, I am aware when something is wrong with my car and how to treat people with respect. I went in and had them diagnose and replace something pretty major in my car. I went in three different times. The first time they had me come in so they could check it out. I was told to schedule another appointment and they would fix it. I came in to the scheduled appointment, waited two hours and paid $166 (or something extremely close to that) only for a diagnostic test. I was under the impression that they were actually working on my car but to my surprise they weren’t. I have PTSD from previous car accidents and was scared to drive my car in the shape it was in. While I’m explaining this to Cody, a service agent he was nice, but impatient with me. I was explaining to him that I could get records to help him see what I had done previously on it TO HELP HIM, but he immediately cut me off and told me “I don’t have time to talk to the other Honda place and I don’t have time for this” … I was trying to help him do his job for efficiency but he “didn’t have time” for me.I’m asking him to explain everything in lay terms because I’m not a mechanic and I’m spending hundreds of dollars on my car with them and mind you, they are in customer service in which I paid $166 and waited for two hours for a “diagnostic.” They tried to tell me I needed X, Y, Z but I literally just had all of that done a week before going to them, which is what I was trying to explain to him and provide him proof of.Finally, he tells me it’s a specific part we need and when I look up the issue it’s pretty serious. If I were to turn at a certain speed my car could have flipped and it could be a serious injury or even death. So, I’m scared and agree that we need to get this part ordered and my car fixed asap. I cry all the way home because I’m scared to drive my car and he didn’t explain everything to me and when I asked questions he made me feel like I was being too much and I was scared to say something about how I felt I was being treated since I needed my car fixed. Kind of like.. you don’t complain to a waitress because you don’t want them to spit in your food situation.The part takes two weeks or so to come in and I bring it in to have it replaced. I drive off the lot and immediately my car sounds WORSE than it did before I brought it in and spent over $400 in parts and labor. I take it back before even leaving the parking lot. I’m upset because I feel like I’m being taken advantage of because they know I’m ignorant to cars. It takes them 10 minutes to take it back and then the noise stopped. So now I feel like I never needed anything replaced and they just had to tighten something all along.Oh well, I’m just glad it’s fixed and I can’t actually prove that’s what happened. Two days pass and now my car is having issues starting. IT NEVER DID THAT BEFORE.I had everything in my car checked TWICE and spent 2k plus on the vehicle within that last month to make sure my car was in tip top shape because I had a long drive to make. Anyways, the battery is fairly new and I just had that tested, nothing is wrong with it.At first I thought I just wasn’t pressing the push to start button all the way or the break and that’s why my car was struggling to start but nope, now it won’t turn on at all. It’s been some weeks since I had my last experience with them and I was reluctant to call back because of this trust issue. But I called back anyways because I don’t know what else to do in this situation. I’m a girl far away from my home state with no family and no ties here.So I call. They tell me it couldn’t have been anything they did because they didn’t touch my starter.
