Comment : Purchased a car here using dealer financing in November 2024. The car is great, but I would NOT purchase from this dealership again. The finance department did not process the financing paperwork (not notified of missing documentation) or car registration (not done within legal timeframe) until I called them multiple times about each of these issues. Even then, the car registration was not completed correctly. When I escalated this matter to Jake, General Manager, he said he would make resolving this car registration issue his “personal project.” Five months after car purchase (and one month after speaking with Jake) there is still no resolution. This has been a very disappointing car purchasing experience, and cannot recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from Honda of Escondido.

He made me understand the whole paperworks process, Massud also went above and beyond to find the best financing solution for my needs, even when I had some specific requirements. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a finance manager who is knowledgeable, efficient, and customer-focused.

Again-I was very pleased with their professionalism and helpfulness. They were all knowledgeable about different financing options and took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I felt comfortable with my decision.

Comment : Purchased a new car with a scratch. The seller told me they could fix it so I purchased the car and scheduled a time for me to come back. When I drive 40 min to their dealership for the scheduled appointment, they said their specialist wasn’t there, took my number, and promised to call me back. They never did. In the past three weeks, I called them twice and got no response. Overall, a bad experience — they are not trustworthy.

Comment : Do not buy from this dealership! They lie and they are dishonest! If I could give it a zero star, I would. I went in on Friday to test drive a car and called back on Saturday trying to make deal with a senior sales rep Masieh. He said that he would call me back to let me know if his manager had accepted my offer and he Never call me back. So, I called back on Sunday and spoke to the sales manager, JJ. I asked JJ if Marcie had told him about my offer and he said no and he didn't have a clue who l was. So, after telling him that I am willing to finance the car today he said " come on over and we can work something out". A couple hours later at 2:09pm (I have the VM on file) he leaves me a voice message saying that he had sold the car. At 4 PM a family member calls the Honda of Escondido dealership to inquire about the same exact car and they say that in fact, it is still available and sent him all the information via text to come and see it. So obviously the sales manager JJ was lying to me! Horrible experience and it's people like them that make us the public with our hard earned money not want to deal with dealerships anymore!

Comment : So disappointed in Customer service and they are very unprofessional. JJ the sales manager lied when we went to buy a car and they later told us a couple days leather that it was sold when and in fact, someone we knew called a Honda Escondido sales representative which confirmed that it was still available for sale! We will not be recommending this dealership to anybody and please do not buy from them. Make yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of problems!

Comment : Just got off the phone to schedule service for my 2024 honda, and was told they no longer provide ride share for service customers. The last lime I brought in the same vehicle that wasn't an issue. Cutting corners on service after the sale never leads to resale opportunities. Maybe this is something management should rethink! SERVICE AFTER THE SALE BUILDS LOYAL CUSTOMERS!

Comment : Previously we've had a decent experience with Honda but today was pretty disappointing. All the service lights on our new(er) Honda Pilot (2024) turned on and the vehicle started to accelerate/decelerate and then brake on its own while my wife was driving our kids to school. She was able to slowly get it to the Honda dealership we bought it from and have them look at it but when asked if we could have a loaner/rental since my wife had a follow up appointment for surgery and we needed to pick our kids up from school she was told that they could only offer a ride home and made it seem like it was not their problem.
Our experience here with the sales, and finance team was pretty good so to have this experience barely a year later was disappointing. Don't expect any type of courtesy service while having your vehicle service if you buy from here.

Comment : I had a great experience at the Honda of Escondido thanks to the excellent service we received from the Senior Sales Consultant Alberto Padilla. Besides being very friendly his knowledge of the vehicle I purchased was really helpful.
