They held my truck for over a week for and kept acting like they were too busy to get to it with vague responses etc. It didn t move from the same parking spot as I drive past there on the way to work every day. Comment : I made an appointment to come in and have my state inspection done, I show up at 9am and the guy that does them never shows up, I was told by the receptionist/mechanic at the front desk that he would call me back when he showed up, if he showed up. He never called, so I called the next day. I called asking if there were any inspectors available he said yes and then I reminded him of what happened the other day and how I was told I would receive a phone call when someone was available. I was told that (Sam) the one that was suppose to do my inspection never showed up so he had to call a new guy. By the way the entire time I was there, I asked if he could call the guy who was supposed to do my inspection that morning and he kept telling me that he didn t have his phone number. He didn t even know his name. What I don t understand is if you had to call a new guy to come in I ll show up then why didn t you call me to let me know that you have an inspector being that I should be first on the list to get cars inspected since I came there I had an appointment and couldn t even get my car inspected. Comment : Took my vehicle there to get the ac serviced. Vehicle never left parking spot for over a week. I kept calling and asking the status of it and they kept implying they were too busy to get to it. They charged me a $200 diagnostics fee and I still have NO AC

Comment : If I could give a ZERO STAR review I would.Dropped my truck off over a week ago to get the AC repaired.. the truck has NOT moved from the parking spot I left it in..When I called to ask if it was ready 3 days after initially dropping it off they beat around the bush and said they ve changed a few parts out but still couldn t figure out what was the issue.That s obviously a lie as another mechanic I JUST got off the phone with told me that there was not even a ticket for the truck and no work had been performed.They re never open when they re supposed to be either..Because of their mess up I had to rent a truck in order to move my trailer costing me money I shouldn t have had to spend in the first place.What a JOKE and WASTE of my time.!!GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!..UPDATE..My husband went to go pick the truck up this morning and was told that we owed $300+ for an automatic diagnostic check LMAOTHEY. DIDNT. EVEN. LOOK. AT. Comment : My daughter Her first car so I took it by there to have them look over it and check it out. They told me the car needed motor mounts so I m like OK. Let s go ahead and replace them come to find out. They put them on wrong so I contact them. They said they need proof that they re on wrong. My daughter lives out of state so I sent them a video of whenever she puts the car in gear the motor moves. We took it by shop. They said that the mounts were on incorrect. I gave Hometown automotive the number to the shop in which the car was at, they called the other shop and ask the technician if the mounts were on incorrectly. The technician said yes. so not only did another technician say the mounts were on incorrectly. You have a video showing the mounts are on incorrectly. I asked him. Hey what can we do to fix this? Can you just refund my money since they re on incorrectly? I was told no that the mounts were just a faulty part. That s not my problem if I pay you $984 to fix something I expect for it to be fixed correctly your advice to me was just pay someone else to do it correctly. Thank you. Comment : I went to hometown after all hope was lost with my 98 dodge dakota and AJ was so willing to get to the root cause of the issue AJ called and said your sensor are bad in the throttle body and he went over and abundantly to get it running again so far the truck starts and stays started .Thank you Hometown Automotive and Thank you AJ I will be back to address other issues with the truck. Comment : I cannot say enough about Chris and Max at Hometown who went the extra mile to help me in a desperate situation. I was 500 miles from home when I got hit from behind on I-81 near Roanoke, VA. My car was undriveable. Chris towed my car and dropped me off at the Roanoke airport so that I could get a rental car. There was none available there from anyone because of recent hurricanes, so Chris drove back to the airport and picked me up with is own car on his own time. Max found a hotel (Days Inn) for me to stay and Chris drove me there. The glass on the back window had been shattered and Max took the initiative to cover it with plastic to prevent rain damage. I had to get a U-Haul truck to get home and Max helped transfer my stuff from my car to the UHaul. He even removed the trailer hitch and kayak racks. Their compassionate help in a time of need lifted a tremendous burden off me and I am so grateful to them for that.I cannot say enough about Chris and Max at Hometown who went the extra mile to help me in a desperate situation.
