Comment : Connor was very sweet to work with young, but a very understanding soul to my situation. We have been a part of this dealership as a family for upwards to fifteen years, with no issues. I was told that if I felt something was off with my current trade that I could bring it back at anytime. And to this point, he has upheld his word. They were very reassuring with my trade in offer for my old car and he helped me remove some of the upside down loan. Hillsboro ford has been a part of our community for many years , and I for one I am grateful..

Comment : Extremely rude service lady. I could see my truck out the window and asked if it was all set, she nearly bit my head off. Telling me she has to print out the paperwork and will do it when she has time because she is busy with phone calls. A very rude and nasty person. I won't be back

Excellent pricing, excellent customer service. Technicians are honest and are the only ones I trust servicing my vehicle.

Comment : I brought my truck to Hillsboro Ford for leaking transmission lines and an inspection of the front axle to get the automatic hubs working again. I chose them because they had helped me once before quickly and at a fair price.

After an initial inspection, I was quoted about $900 for transmission lines and $1,800 for front axle work—with no guarantee the vacuum system would work. I approved the work, but a few days later I got a call saying I might need a new axle, wheel bearing, and knuckles—raising the cost by $3,500. I declined.

When I picked up the truck, the bill was over $2,000: $857 for transmission lines, $591 for front end work (which was never done because their initial inspection missed items and they stopped the work based on this), and $618 for rear axle seals I authorized. On top of that, the ABS light was on—something that wasn’t an issue before. I was told the ABS wire had melted due to missing dust shields, which is odd since everything was fine when I dropped it off.

Later, I was told I was charged $141 for a valve I didn’t need, just to get a fitting Ford supposedly didn’t have. I found that fitting for $29 at a parts store half a mile away. When I raised this, the story shifted—they claimed the cheaper one wasn’t aluminum, which feels like a cover.

In the end, I fixed the transmission leak myself—it turned out the mechanic didn’t install one line latch and installed two others incorrectly. While fixing the ABS wire, I also discovered my front tire wasn’t torqued properly, damaging the rim.

To sum it up: I brought in a truck with a simple transmission leak. I got it back with more issues than it went in with—ABS light on, leaking lines, a damaged rim, changing stories—and a $2,000 bill. Lesson learned: I’ll avoid Hillsboro Ford and their sister Jeep/Ram dealership, and I’ll make sure others know to do the same.
