Comment : God told me to go to High Mills to have new rear hubs and lug bolts installed and for an alignment (Walmart had damaged both rear hubs while servicing my tires). When I picked up the car, I did not receive an alignment report. God told me request and review the report, and I found the overall cross camber was worse after the alignment (in spec before, out of spec after, will try to upload the original alignment report, as well as the ones when they went to fix it). God directed to remove the rear tires to inspect the work and take photos of the adjustment bolts to confirm there was further adjustment available, and then to call back and inquire. While removing the rear tires I discovered that about half the lug bolts/hub threads were damaged and could not be screwed in by hand past the first few threads. It appeared the damage (a ~$2,500 repair) that Walmart caused had occurred all over again, damaging brand new lug bolts and hubs (I included a video of when I had just found the damage. I did use the term “cross-threaded” incorrectly, it probably would have been more accurate to say “galled” or “damaged”). I called to speak with John, the owner, and received an unreasonable reply. I was told since I had removed the wheel, they now had no idea what I had been up to, which would put their warranty at risk, and as soon as I started loosening the lug bolts, before the wheel was off, I should have had the intuition to realize they were damaged and immediately call them. I was also told that I would have to pay for a tow to get the car there without the rear wheels being reinstalled. I asked how that was possible and was told I had to figure it out. Needless to say I went to ask God for direction on the situation. God told me the damage to the bolts/hubs was less severe than with Walmart and could be corrected by using anti-seize and running the bolts in and out a few times with a socket wrench, which I did, and was able to get the wheels back on.
God then said I needed to go back and get the alignment corrected. I called back, explained this to John, and setup an appointment to take another look at the alignment. My dad accompanied me to the appointment as God also instructed. At the appt we were given many excuses and deflections with regards to the bolts/hubs. John told us there isn’t a shop that will leave lug bolts in a finger-threadable condition. What is ironic, is that before Walmart’s accident, they and other shops had left all lugs in finger-threadable condition on all my cars and my parent’s cars for decades. I also discovered the original alignment performed used the incorrect alignment spec ranges. We stayed in the garage for about 3 hours or so as they performed 2 or 3 alignments. After one alignment there was still an out of spec with the camber which I was told it is not possible to bring into spec. We drove the car, and it pulled to the side, which didn’t align with the readings. After a few alignments, the values were adjusted all within spec and the car drove well. The alignments were covered under the original work order.
Now, the flex pipes on my A8 went bad, and God told me to return to High Mills to have them do the exhaust work. When I called on 6/16, Glenn answered the phone; I gave him my first name, the car, and asked for exhaust work. He started scheduling an appointment for the next week but couldn’t find me in the system. He asked: “Are you the gentleman we did the wheel alignment for?”. When I responded yes, he put me on hold and got John, the owner. John asked what I needed, and when I told him I was looking for some exhaust work, he said he would not be able to help with my car.
After having had to go through the event and address the errors/inadequacies from the first repair on my car, it now appears they are denying future service. The only reason I was going back was not of my own will, but because God directed me to. In denying service, they also deny the One who sent me. He has now directed me to leave this review of the events, and to expose darkness.
