Comment : Did not honor warranty on a transmission that went bad, they then attempted to fix the transmissionand and tried to charge me $600.00 which did not repair the problem. Additionally, they Tried to sell me another transmission that cost more than the car was worth. After keeping the car over a month and half, I finally had it towed away.

I took my 2021 Tacoma TRD Off-Road in for an oil change. A few days later, after my wife had driven it, I noticed oil on my driveway. I checked the oil level and found it was nearly empty. I put the truck up on ramps in my garage to inspect underneath and discovered the problem: they had only finger-tightened the drain plug on the oil pan. It wasn't tightened to spec, causing a steady drip. This could have led to catastrophic engine failure from oil loss had I not caught it.
I tightened the plug to spec myself, and it hasn't leaked since. Tightening the drain plug is a basic, standard part of an oil change—there's no excuse for missing something like this.
I will not be bringing my vehicles back to Harlan Auto.'>

Comment : I am very disappointed in this shop. I've been using Harlan Auto for about three years. Their prices are higher than other garages, but the level of service had always been good—until recently.

Comment : Through 35 years and dozens of vehicles I've never experienced a shop like this. From setting the right expectations, pricing that makes sense, superb communication and the documentation, I don't expect I'll ever take a vehicle anywhere else.
