My English is not good and they understood me with kindness and above all good service 1 Reviews Dave edwards Norristown, PA Reviewed : 12/03/2024 Comment : So my wife and I were driving across country from California to a family reunion in New York when our F-150's engine shut down south of Norristown on highway 202 in the afternoon... on a Friday. Yikes!A tow from AAA got us to H&A Auto Repair. The place was packed with vehicles and we figured that we would be lucky to get the truck diagnosed by the end of the day. Then we would be stuck in Norristown for at least three nights with costs for hotels, meals, etc., etc.Two different mechanics were pullede also promised that the repair would be done the next morning. We were given an estimate for the installation of a new water pump. We booked a hotel room and one of the mechanics said it was on his way home so he would drop us off at our hotel! The next morning we got an Uber back to Auto-Lab and sure enough the pump was being installed. So we went across the street to a cafe for breakfast and by the time we were done the truck was ready and had already been taken out for a test drive. On top of that the mechanic had steam-cleaned the engine! After 120k miles it had never looked so good! The cost was as quoted the day before and more than fair for the quick service and incidentals. We were back on the road as promised in plenty of time to get to PA. If we lived in the Lansing area, Auto-Lab would no doubt be our mechanics. So my wife and I were driving across country from California to a family reunion in New York when our F-150's engine shut down south of Norristown on highway 202 in the afternoon... on a Friday. AFTER MONTHS of constantly dodging or hanging up on my calls Pete tells me that the diagnostics I paid $1000 out of pocket for will be done in mid Sept.September comes and goes, Peter has never once since the car was dropped off, called me back.I call and call again and again and finally in November I've had it, I try to alert them that I'm coming to get the car and expect a refund - again Peter ignores me, mailbox full, on vacation for the 5th time this year. So I just show up and take the car. They were kind enough not to make an issue and gave me a check for the full amount. However upon getting the vehicle home I find out that the passenger control arm has been destroyed and the vehicle has been messed with so now even with a new battery or a jump pack - no lights come on at all. Indicating the electrical systems have been tampered with. The Ignition coils are all disconnected and theres indication someone was rummaging through the vehicle as they broke my android auto device clean off the dashboard.Don't send your car here if you ever want to get it back in a reasonable amount of time, or in one piece.Pete - you need to retire and give up on ever working with people. I'm not sure how you got this job or became owner but it's clearly not through your ability to run a business.Peter worked with me for a year on getting my 2006 mercedes diagnosed for timing issues under warranty. it went in to the shop in Dec 2023. H&A fixed the problem quickly and got him back on the road for a very reasonable price. This was my first experience with this garage. I will be bringing my cars here from now on. 1 Reviews Natalie williams Norristown, PA Reviewed : 11/13/2024 Comment : If you are looking for a great and honest mechanic to work on your vehicle head over to H and A Auto. I took my car there after another mechanic told me that I had a cracked head gasket. That mechanic was going to charge me over 3k and that was not even the problem my car was having. It turns out the radiator and a few other issues was what needed to be repaired. Peter and his team did an amazing job repairing my truck. My truck is up and running.. This is means so much to me because the place I used in the past is far away in Philly. It???s nice to find a mechanic close to home. Thanks Peter and team for getting my car back up and running! If you are looking for a great and honest mechanic to work on your vehicle head over to H and A Auto. This led to a broken control arm, a damaged ball joint, and cosmetic damage to my vehicle. It???s clear they lack the basic knowledge of recommended tire pressure. I chose their service based on positive reviews, but when I returned after the accident, they claimed that inflating the tire to 52 psi, instead of the recommended 32-35 psi, does not affect tire functionality at all. This is unacceptable.Additionally, they completely denied any issues with the rotor, despite the obvious condition visible in the pictures. Inspected the Rotor condition in person and told me to keep driving with the current Rotor condition. They overinflated my tire pressure by 50%, which caused my tire to skid and resulted in an accident.
