Comment : I went to Gurney s because my check engine light was on. I was charged $475 to replace an exhaust leak and replace the gas cap. I was then given a list of additional items needing repair totaling thousands of dollars. The check engine light came back on a few weeks later. I went elsewhere for repairs. The gas cap that Gurney s replaced did not fit properly causing the check engine light to come back on. I had the gas cap replaced again. Problem solved. I was charged a total of $36 from the new mechanic. I asked about the list of repairs that Gurney s had provided. I was told my car was in excellent condition and I did not have any additional items in need of repair. If I had gone back to Gurney s I would have paid a ridiculous amount of money for something that didn t need replacing and the check engine light would still be on. I tried reaching out to Gurney s with my concerns but I was completely ignored.I went to Gurney s because my check engine light was on. Comment : My new go to mechanic. The updates and customer service was fantastic. Better than larger chain shops. And I didn't feel pressured to over spend or felt the price was too high. They even washed off my vehicle after my service. Now that's good service!
