I inquired about an estimate in August for an accident I was involved in on the interstate by the road department. I received an estimate from multiple body shops and because of the turn around time alone chose Green s. Via an email, I was assured it would take 7-8 business days to complete the repairs, so around 2 weeks. I dropped my car off 12/30/2024. I inquired multiple times via email and phone call about my vehicle. Every conversation confirmed the parts were on back order, which would have been fine, but it was decided on 12/14/2024 I would be getting the repairs and 12/30/2024 I had the appointment to drop the vehicle off. I assumed they could go on and put an order in for the parts. They did not even start to work on my vehicle until 2/20/2025! The only update I was given when I inquired was about the back order of parts. I was given the option to pick my vehicle back up and they would keep my ticket open, at this point I was already out of the inconvenience of dropping off and getting a different vehicle (because what rental company will let you have a vehicle for an extended amount of time?). Finally, I was told on 3/20/2025 they were waiting on the insurance company but my vehicle would be done that day or the following day, then, radio silence. 4/1/2025 I email AGAIN asking about the status and I was finally told it would be done that day. That s 3 months they had my vehicle for repairs with little communication. The repairs look fine, but I will never return for a repair and discourage anyone from using Green s for repairs, they ll have your vehicle for 1/4 of the year!Beware before committing to Green s! Outstanding job, he was pleasant, patient and willing to go the extra mile. Thank you Greens for employing a service-oriented individual. We would highly recommend any and all needing body repair work! 1 Reviews Derek knight Lexington, KY Reviewed : 07/17/2024 Comment : They were cooperative with my needs of having to get custom parts off my car. Before it was totaled 1 Reviews Dwayne anderson Lexington, KY Reviewed : 05/22/2024 Comment : I am loyal! I am loyal because Green's Toyota was helpful in guiding me through repairs of my Toyota Camry which failed an oil consumption test (look up to fully understand) that then lead to an engine overhaul. So when my Santa Fe was damaged a few years ago I went to Green's Collision. All repairs and service was excellent. Next, my mother's Lincoln SUV last summer received over $8000 in damages, I recommend Green's. She used them and all repairs and service was excellent. Then in a very unusual incident, my Mazda CX 9 was damaged in a hands free car wash. I had Green's estimate the damages which were $3700. In this scenario, it took many months to be reimbursed by the car wash facility. While waiting on that payment so I could take to Green's, my daughter had an accident in her Highlander. (Yes, they just kept happening.) Of course, I took it to Green's. This is where the story goes badly. In this scenario, communication was mostly initiated by me, not Green's. The repairs completed were again excellent with one issue. The passenger headlight had moisture in it. I made Green's aware. Tristian Rogers was in charge of my account. Not a good phone call with Tristan. I circled back and reached out to Darrell Rogers the centers manager. He said, "I expected this call...Tristian said he had an irate customer." I assure you I was not irate. The opposite, it felt as if Tristian had already made up his mind and that no help was going to be extended. I allowed him to talk, but when I tried to explain my stance he simply talked over me and hung up. I was trying get across to that the issue of moisture didn't exist prior to the accident and ideally should be addressed. My conversation with Darrell was more pleasant but his final words "Green's won't be paying for this" made it clear to me how unimportant I had been to the collision center. I paid to have the headlight replaced. I did receive my payment to get my CX9 repaired, it comes to reason I certainly didn't use Green's Collision to make that repair. My loyalty no longer exists.
