I brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance prior to traveling, after my check engine light came on. I was advised that the issue was a mass air flow sensor, and I paid over $1,000 for that repair.

However, upon picking up my vehicle and attempting to drive off the lot, I immediately experienced transmission issues?something that was not present when I initially dropped off the car, nor identified during the initial diagnostic. After conducting a second diagnostic test, I was informed that I now needed a full transmission replacement, quoted at $5,100.

When I raised concerns about how this issue suddenly appeared, I was told that during their $300 diagnostic process, ?underlying issues? may not always be detected right away. This explanation was concerning, given that the vehicle showed no signs of transmission problems beforehand.

Additionally, I later learned that the transmission work would be outsourced to another shop, which independently quoted approximately $4,200?significantly less than what I was quoted.

This pattern of service is not isolated. My sister had a similar experience, where she was initially quoted one price, only to be told additional repairs were required after she had already agreed. When I expressed my intent to report these concerns to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the business refunded the cost of the mass airflow sensor only and declined to proceed with further repairs on my vehicle.

Consumers deserve transparency, consistency, and integrity when it comes to vehicle repairs?especially during financially challenging times. If you believe you have experienced similar treatment, I strongly encourage you to report it and seek accountability through the appropriate channels.

I visited here a while back and Jake was a big help. I went in for a front end alignment. He checked my car, tighten up a screw on my brake line to stop a leak and informed me that all I needed was new tires. He didn?t charge me for anything and was very helpful in explaining the ?Why? behind everything. I look forward to visiting here for future vehicle services.

Anthony was fantastic ? he took the time to explain everything clearly, kept us informed every step of the way, and moved quickly to get the job done right. Communication was excellent from start to finish. It?s rare to find a shop where you feel genuinely taken care of rather than just handed a bill. Highly recommend!

Comment : Super friendly nice approachable people. I live in Conroe but make the drive to Green & White Automotive just because of their genuine service.
They communicate well with clients and great at sending updates via text with a video further explaining why the repair is needed.
They are like the Gallery Furniture of Automotive Shops when it comes to friendly quality service.

Comment : I took my srx cadillac ti their shop as the engine light kept shinning and it would not get oked for renewal of sticker. They ran it thru their system and quickly showed me that the vehicle needed front and rear brakes and engine light showed a part needed replaced. They were quick and cost of new brakes was much less than what i had been quoted at Ripley's. They had it all fixed after overnight stay and was pleased with final cost. They even threw in some costs for other items that i was hesitant on having done. They were so professional and walked me through what was wrong. I would take my vehicles to them the next time i need repairs
