Comment : Dropped my car off at Gene's auto Care Friday morning for a new water pump and then explained to Keith what my vehicle was doing he said he was super busy and would get to my car Tuesday morning well he called me at 7:30 explained to me it looked very bad and he would fix it today. Keith called me at 2:15 pm saying my car was ready I explained that I could not get off work until after 5:00 pm to get to my moms house then get dropped off to the shop to pick my car up. Well Keith waited for me to get to the shop at 5:45 pm paid him and went home. Thank you Keith for waiting for me!

Comment : Hands down the BEST mechanic in New Orleans. EXTREMELY knowledgeable and friendly…I needed some work done to my car and expected for it to take a few days. They literally had it done that day before lunch, AND they did it cheaper than I expected. I won’t go anywhere else!

Comment : Genes automotive in Harahan Keith Tommy and Matt are the best been going to them for a couple of years now get oil changes every 5,000 miles tires rotations brakes just had front struts put on genes was very reasonable and professional great service would recommend them to anyone who needs mechanic work done are just oil changes and brakes done they use the Napa premium brake pads and rotors

Comment : I brought my car to Keith at Gene's Automotive to get the air conditioner examined as it was blowing warm air. My car has 258,000 miles and is a 2007 . Prior to going to Gene's Automotive, I had used another Harahan care repair shop and was told my car is too old to fix , too many miles on it and go buy another car. I am glad I got a 2nd opinion from Keith at Gene's Automotive. He evaluated my car like a doctor and told me what the problem was. My air conditioner needed freon & he knew exactly what to do to keep the air conditioner cooling. His repair fees are affordable. He is honest, customer friendly, and nice respectful gentleman. Not like the other shop in Harahan!
My car doctor is Keith at Gene's Automotive! I trust him to keep my car running cool & safely. When I come across another car to purchase, I will ask him to check it out before I buy it!

Comment : They serviced my car for 15 years, then I was told I was missing some connectors on my lights, went to the dealer and they told me those parts had to have been removed, manually, cost over $1000.00 to be replaced. Had never gone to any other shop for service. Even recommended other people. What's funny is he has never reached out to find out why I stop going to him. He even accused me of having my brakes changed by someone else, my brakes were never change.
