Comment : We paid Bob $5,000 CASH (which he asked for 🚩) to fix the front end damage on our truck that was involved in an accident. The oil cooler was leaking oil and needed to be replaced as well as a bunch of other parts like front bumper, headlights, etc.
This mechanic removed our oil cooler, welded the coolers lines closed and removed the oil cooler. Please see photos below. When we got the truck back, we broke down only a few hours later because the transmission over heated and the truck stop running. We had to get the truck towed to another mechanic. He had to order a new oil cooler, new lines and also pay another mechanic install the parts on my truck that this mechanic removed. We also had to do a front end alignment since the truck didn’t drive straight. All this was brought up to GC and he basically told me to prove it. The other mechanic knew Bob and called him, so Bob called me and said he will reimburse me. I have a voicemail he left stating that yet when I call him to get my money back, he blows me off.
We are currently in the legal process of trying to get our money back.
The front end work and all work that was done, no fasteners was used, all parts were strung together with safety wire which was not the way my truck was and not what I paid them for. We just wanted our truck fixed the right way as it was, and we got the exact opposite of that and paid in full.
This mechanic ripped us off so bad and is so dishonest I’m blown away he’s still in business. Please do your research before getting ripped off like we did. We have lost a lot of work since this is one of our work vehicles and has been out of commission for weeks now. Thanks Bob!
