Comment : Ill start off by saying I'm only giving it 1 star because Adam was helpful over the phone and my car sat there for awhile waiting for parts (different shops fault).. I am however extremely disappointed in the quality of work that went into my car. Brought it in for constant squeak after changing the transmission and all associated parts myself. So I wanted another opinion. They informed me the transmission had leaked from being rebuilt incorrectly (different shop) after all said and done i come to pick up my car. 1. The quote almost more then doubled from what i was told. 2. They did not install the correct speed sensor I requested (I had to change myself at home) 3. the bottom of the car was covered in transmission fluid not cleaned up at all. 4. I had to remove and reinstall the shifter due to a bushing not being installed causing the car to shift terrible (I gave them 2 of these bushings to use along with the speed sensor they didn't install) 5. I was called saying the new transmission was bad and did not have 3rd gear, i had to inform them to adjust the shifter as the stops will prevent it from grabbing gears if not properly set. and to top it off the car made the same sqeaking sound it originally brought it for!!! (Different shop helped me diagnose the throw out bearing adjuster was 10 times past where it should be) so now I will have to change that part again. Due to being subjected to much more stress then deigned. If I could go back i would just have done it myself again. I will most definitely be changing the bearing myself. Comment : I stumbled upon Ernie's as they were one of the few mechanics open on a Saturday. I couldn't be happier with their team or services. They were able to order and replace multiple parts on my vehicle quickly and offer guidance on how to continue to care for my car.

Comment : I was on a rush to repair a light on the dash this Saturday and I tried going to another place nearby before where I usually check the car, but they didn t even want to check it since they were about to close. Looking for another place nearby I read good reviews about Earnie s garage, then I decided to try and I don t regret about it. Adam was super friendly and patient. In less than 1 hour Antony and Adam helped me to get the pieces for the car. Good prices and a great service! They give you an invoice and explain you everything what you are paying for. Totally trustworthy

Comment : I spent some time on the phone explaining that I got canceled on for an appointment to look at my ac system. Then explained my issue at hand. What I have done to diagnose and rectify the situation. Told them I replaced a resistor sensor for the blower and charged my system but when I wiggle a fuse for the blower motor it comes on until I hit a bump. After giving all this information I asked is this something you can do because I critically need it done before I leave for vacation driving to rockport mass? He says of course we are a full rounded repair shop. He says one second let me talk to ac guy and I ll brb. Comes back and says off the info you told me this doesn t seem that bad just come in. I said you sure because I have to send my wife in being I m at work. He says send her in. My wife packs my one year old up and head there 25 mins away for them to tell her ok I ll charge the ac for you no problem. She says my husband explained he didn t need a charge on the phone tell her he will be right back then tell her this is something you need an appointment for. Her being upset said why would you tell someone to come in if that s the case I have my child with me and all. They were rude and did not care what so ever about the inconvenience. I would not recommend this type of service to anyone and in fact if I did this in my business I d be out of business quick.
